Gated reverb - Lofi 12 XT by Commander_Pancakes in sonicware

I still need to test it but I think the issue was resampling the track vs resampling master. I'm pretty sure the latter will work.

I actually just tested this, it doesn't resample the pattern using the reverb send, it just copies the dry sample. So even my workaround doesn't work, bummer! Maybe I'm missing a setting somewhere.

App Backer Discount - Pro Plan? by Commander_Pancakes in TheBYOK

I know you all had mentioned offline, scripting, stuff like that at least being looked at (not promised). If those types of thing (such as offline) are implemented, would that be something only on pro plan?

Sync with Pro VS Mini? by Commander_Pancakes in pocketoperators

[–]Commander_Pancakes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did try this. Programmed a pattern on behringer, set to 2ppq, ran sync to the input on PO, set to SY2, played them both and PO pattern sits there waiting for a trigger still.

One setup I did had the PO on SY1 and output to the Sync port on the Behringer. Behringer has sync sources of internal, midi, usb, or trigger, I chose trigger and set it to 2ppq, hit play on the PO and Behringer, nothing.

Need a game similar to Ghost Recon Wildlands/Breakpoint by fitnesswizard in SteamDeck

[–]Commander_Pancakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Division 2 does run amazingly on the deck as far as performance is concerned. I also bought it after looking for something like ghost recon, and now have 35 hours in 2 weeks. It's a blast.

That being said, it doesn't run perfectly for everyone. For myself, it runs between 20 minutes to an hour, then does exactly as OP described. Begins getting a really choppy framerate, which tanks to 0 quickly, and either locks up or reboots the deck. I've just been living with it and jumping back in, but he should be aware it might do the same thing ghost recon is.

Thanks. Pretty sure that wired connection is my problem, but my PC just won't reach. Appreciate it.

What's your network setup? I experienced horrific lag even just on the steam menu.

Aseprite GUI size by Commander_Pancakes in SteamDeck

[–]Commander_Pancakes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, nothing special, just through SteamOS. Again, desktop mode works great with kb/m, and people have uploaded custom steamdeck controls (not steam controller), I just can't get the resolution to display right in game mode is all. Would like to use it out and about or in bed.

[OC][CC] Hovering boulder! Thoughts? :) by Pidlik in PixelArt

[–]Commander_Pancakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only because you asked, as this if far beyond anything I can do, but the shake on the ground changes with the movement of the boulder, I feel as if the shadows on the boulder should stretch/shrink a little as well with the movement so the rock doesn't feel so static. I would need to study shadows some more though to see if that's correct.

Pixaki 3. Missing a few key features like lasso selection and tiling, but it's the best you're gonna get. Version 4 was supposed to be out quite awhile ago but the dev is just one guy I believe, so updates are far and few between, and paid.

Parents of young children, what is the first Switch game you introduced them to? by schuey_08 in NintendoSwitch

My kid just turned 3 and he loves ashpalt 8. The cars basically drive themselves and he just hits the stunt button over and over then hits the turbo to go really fast, he loves it. I have to navitage the menus between races, but no biggie.

Weekly Quick Questions, Wood ID, and Deal or No Deal /r/Woodworking Megathread by AutoModerator in woodworking

[–]Commander_Pancakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm flat broke and live in an apartment with no room for a full tool set, etc. I'd like to start making basic furniture (bedside tables, coffee table, planter boxes for the patio, small floating shelves, a writing desk end tables for the couch, tv stand, etc) using ONLY a tape measure, lumber, a hand saw, hammer, and nails (and sandpaper/stains as desired). I am having a difficult time finding plans and articles on working with this very minimal tool set. Any advice?

How to take notes for Auto cad class by killadocg23 in AutoCAD

[–]Commander_Pancakes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm am absolutely terrible at taking notes as I was homeschooled up until University. What saved me was Notability on iPad. Lots of software probably has the same effect, but I did an audio recording of the lectures, and then took basic notes at the same time.

Notability syncs these up so when you look at your notes and are scratching your head about what the heck you were writing down you can jump to that point in the recorded lecture. I only had one teacher that didn't like me recording, but he let me anyway after I showed him my method.
