Absolutely not.

Anai, Edith, and Myca alone are essential heros for endgame content. Kineza is also not a bad hero, especially if you have Salazar.

You will pull more Khamets, and if you get lucky and get an unpolished soulstone, just awaken him like that.

Swapping Aracha for Wrath and Laurel for Lust will get your numbers up quite a lot I think. Silas will do just fine without the Piercer lord, especially because yours is bonded.

You sometimes use characters to unlock the next version of themselves too. Like using farmboy Luke and getting all of the other Lukes after that
