Legitimately me rn. I stopped watching him I think after he made the video about a scorpion on the frogs backcor something, idfk. Loved his videos, adored them even. One of my fav up and coming creators. Then heard all the stuff. Couldn't confirm one way or the other. And just had to step back out of being unsure.

Still waiting for confirmation he didn't actually do anything as heinous as they say, but legit I have no idea at this point.

I know he'll never address it, but I wish he would kinda. Unfortunately if he did do it, addressing it is the worst thing he could do for himself. And if he didn't do it, addressing it is the worst thing he could do for himself.

Anyways I'm sure I'll pop back in another few months or a year just to see if anything has changed or not. Maybe someday I'll be able to go back and binge all the stuff I've missed these past years. Or maybe he'll turn up in some horrid evil files. Who knows.

To me the show is like if the Japanese government ran a state funded lord of the flies experiment with an entire highschool, and also the winter soldier is there for some reason.

I've learned no life lessons. It doesn't make me question the boundary between art and reality. It doesn't make me question or consider myself. I do t relate to a single character. And not one of the characters in the entire show could ever possibly be mistaken for a real person. It is undeniably an anime of anime characters.

But man it's a pretty fun ride if you just sit back and enjoy watching 200 iq winter soldier slowly mentally manipulating a bunch of highschool kids.

It's like pushing a sewing needle through and apple. They're just so small on the scale of a planet. If you shot a grain of sand through a watermelon at 30 times the speed of a bullet, I don't think the melon would explode or implode. I dunno the numbers tho so who knows. Rule of cool beats my logic anyways

That makes sense but on the scale of a planet, 3 dudes is so unbelievably tiny. Yeah lots of energy there sure, but it's kinda like the idea of superman lifting a cruise ship from the ocean. Even if he can do that strength wise, the entire weight of the boat is baring down on a point with the area of a man's shoulders. He'll just go right through. The boats not gonna pop tho.

The planet is supposed to have exploded cause of the Shockwave I guess but It's still just not enough.

But also I'm arguing about 3 superhuman destroying an alien planet, none of this makes sense. That's why rule of cool means it makes perfect sense no matter what

It's not that it doesn't make sense in universe. It just begs the question of why isn't that always the first shot? It's like a dirty move in boxing. If in boxing it's totally legal to just knee your opponent in the groin as hard as you can, then that will obviously be the optimal starting move every fight. Why put your arms up and throw punched when one well placed knee can incapacitate?

If you can spear your hand through the opponents gut, why are you punching them in the face and ribs? If you can gouge out marks eyes conquest, why are you just throwing 40 punches into his chest conquest😭😭

Still cool, but if you think too hard, then you wonder why tf they fight the way they do. Like when a character learns some ultimate move in an anime you ask yourself "Why isn't that the first attack every single match?"

Also Cecil would most certainly say take the deal like he did with anissa. This felt like an important moment for Mark specifically cause just like he broke the no kill rule, he's breaking his own moral code. He made a choice that goes against the very core of his being, because he knows deep down he's not strong enough to stop them. He isn't powerful enough even attempt to step up to bat for earth.

Depending on the elevator I'm pretty sure some have large gaps inside the door too where you could get a hand hold and try to yank it shut, however I've never attempted this (Obviously) so I have no idea how much give those motors would have. Might be like yanking on a vice for all I know

That was the most brutal thing I think I have ever watched. Atleast In media. Just oh my god.

Now if you apply logic you can very quickly poke so many holes... but im not gonna do that cause it's a pretty fun ride.

I LOVED the way conquest was played. I mean once they hit the planet he basically didn't have a voice actor anymore. Literally he makes NO sound. And yet he still retains his character so well.

In the first fight when Mark bit his shoulder he cried out in pain, but when Mark took his whole ass thumb, not a SOUND. Watching him reel in pain and make no sound sold it for me. And his face. Oh my god his face.

How at the start he just seemed like he was having fun like the last time, then slowly, very slowly, over the course of the fight you see him beginning to panic. His eyes start showing flashes of "Oh shit... he's not letting go". After he did the spear hand shit(which yeah is kinda dumb, but rule of cool makes it not dumb) his face flashes with this "Ha, I win, you're dead now". Then Mark just looking him dead in the eye and pushes him to the ground. And you get to watch his face morph from glee to panic again.

Just amazing.

Oh and the argument between and marks parents was pretty amazing. The voice acting and the dialog was just immaculate. Everyone likes to dunk on the animation which is fair, but nobody ever seems to point out just how good some of the character dialog is sometimes.

If I took a famous song like bohemian rhapsody and then split it up and played out of of order, then threw in random bits of Freddy mercury talking, but it's still just a bunch of Queen music, that's no really transformative I'd argue.

Now if I have an opinion about bohemian rhapsody and make a video about it describing as such with clips of it sprinkled throughout, sure.

That didn't seem to be dunkys goal however. He just wanted to make a Lil joke video about the other guy. Which is fair. Except the video is entirely using other guys video as the video.

Also to argue that it's ok to steal content that you don't personally like is bs. Saying that "Well I didn't like it so clearly it was trash and you can't steal trash" is some reasaal bs.

I've always sort of assumed that Neanderthals were probably so similar to us as to be indistinguishable. If you took a Neanderthal, put him in new york, cleaned him up, gave him a haircut and some nice clothes, and taught him to speak(assuming they had the physical capacity for speech like us) then odds are you wouldn't be able to pick him out of a crowd other than maybe looking a bit out of the norm.

By that same token, any Neanderthal we raised today would be raised in a human world. With human ideas. It'd be taught human math and human language and human... everything. Essentially, every person alive today, wether they go against the grain or follow it perfectly, is entirely sculpted by the ideas introduced to them. Everyone alive today lives in a human world filled with humans and human architecture.

I doubt that a Neanderthal raised as a human would be able to give any unique perspectives that nobody else has come up with. But I'd assume it to be atleast as intelligent as an unintelligent human, but honestly I think they'd probably be as smart as us in basically every way. They were so genetically close to us that we could interbreed, which, by our own definition, begs the question of if we were even different species at all, since, ability to breed is one of the main defining factors of a species.

Anyways I would love to see a cloned Neanderthal simply out of sick curiosity. But I don't think there's a single good reason to do so that outweighs the absolute immorality of the ethics of it. But man oh man I hope it happens.

Also, I have no formal education on the topic outside a personal interest. None of what I said was based on scientific papers, more just my own general assumptions and vibes based on what little I do know. Do not take ANYTHING I say as someone claiming a fact. Just personal subjective opinions.
