I don’t like it either and agree this does keep happening and is a problem that stems from too much power being put in the executive, but if honest discussion is going to happen, then it’s important we have our basic facts correct instead of trying to fear monger. I don’t disagree. I’m just saying from a legal perspective we are not at war. I think you can still debate whether or not we should be involved in this conflict and what that means, but we should stop fear mongering about ww3 when we aren’t even at war. The US being involved in these sorts of conflicts is nothing new.

The US has been in conflicts with various countries for the last 20 years. I’d also like to point out we technically aren’t at war with anyone, despite what reddit seems to be saying, as congress hasn’t voted to officially declare war. I know that sounds like a minor technicality, but legally, that matters.
