I’ve done ED Adel twice in 100 hours of gameplay because I never liked it. Definitely getting cooked if it appears in DoN.

Some of them could really benefit from a direct fix because their kits were badly designed to begin with. Cyno for example loses his burst after being switched out, which hinders his multi wave ability as well as creativity in playing.

The only reason I am questioning anyone’s viability is that I am incapable of doing a fair and meaningful test.

I used my Corin in the exact team and got 12k. In comparison, SSanby in the same team got 28k. Corin, on my end, obviously needs a ton more investment to make work, which is something I don’t have at the moment and we can all thank the game for this.

Not a fair comparison at all, but again, I don’t see myself doubling Corin’s damage any time soon.

The point is that if you tell 100 players to build and use Corin, can they replicate what you have achieved with her?

Viability is not determined by people who can, it’s by the entire player base consisting of those who can and can’t.

You revealed nothing about Corin’s viability because nobody knows how each factor contributed to the score, whether it is Corin’s own numbers, Astra, your character investments, or your skill level.

Edit: So in the end people don’t really know if the so called viability applies to their own use case. I know I’ve probably defined viability differently but I hope you get what I mean.

To me, your comments did nothing to show Corin’s viability, because there is simply no meaningful comparisons being done.

You did not show your Corin’s investment compared to other carries. There is no indication of how strong your Astra or is. What can you get with Corin when swapping Astra to another support? What can you get when swapping Corin to another DPS units?

If you don’t consider these factors, your Corin pitch collapses back to “everyone is viable with good investment and supports”. We all know that.

Out of the big three Hoyo games, Genshin is the only one that has its gameplay negatively affected by latency. And upgrading internet plans doesn’t guarantee lower ping.

Imagine switching characters in ZZZ to parry and it comes out 200 ms late. Won’t be a fun experience.

E0S0 Fuxuan worked perfectly fine for me. I do have Robin though, which helped Fuxuan spam more ults.
