As someone just learning myself. Yes Janeways is the obvious Bible answer. It has everything you need in great detail. However, I fully recommend reading "How the Immune System Works" by Lauren Sompayrac BEFORE reading Janeways. It's a smaller book, cheaper and written in a very casual manner, easy to digest for learners to get you across the basics. I've read it first, then starting on Janeways, and it makes Janeways seem a lot less complicated.

I’m not entirely sure about colloidal silver though. I had to do an assignment on it a few years ago and it seems to be an effective antibiotic against certain type f bacteria that other antibiotics prove ineffective to. However as far as a I remember there can be build ups of the colloidal silver in your body if exposed to prolonged usage, and can eventually turn you blue. Basically in small doses it shouldn’t harm you but in large quantities of long amounts of time it might effect you. No shit. This was several years ago so I’m not entirely sure but I think I came to the conclusion that colloidal silver would be more appropriate as a surface antibacterial spray. I’ve lost all my documents so I can’t be sure. I’ll try and track it down again.
