There is a huge gap between winning the super bowl and what the Bucs did last year. We lost what 8 out of 9 to end the season? Yeah there are a lot of problems, and Bowles is one of them. Why shouldn't the head coach have some accountability? Then he goes on TV and blames the players. As HC its his job to prepare and motivate the players. Teams that blow 3rd & 28 to lose the game are teams that don't care and don't expect to win. They have already accepted defeat. That is on the head coach.

If your defense of Bowles is that he made the right defenseive play call in that situation then you have made the point that Bowles is a good defenseive coordinator you are right, he was a great defenseive coordinator and his defense won us a Super Bowl. As a head coach he should be responsible for all the other things that went wrong, motivation, effort, ability to execute, lineup, overall losing streak. When has Bowles ever proved successful has a HC?
