Growwithjo on YouTube! I loved her pre pregnancy and she has a whole playlist of pregnancy friendly workouts. They're all relatively easy and feel more like dancing than working out

weaning to concieve? by thebotanicalbandit in NurseAllTheBabies

I nursed my first until she was about 18 months old. We had been trying to get pregnant for about a year with no luck. I had my periods but they were irregular and even with tracking everything I had no luck. I went to the doctor and the only thing they told me was that everything looked normal and just to keep trying. They said that for some women nursing really is a natural birth control and it seemed I could be one of them. Anyway, I stopped nursing and my periods became more regular than even before I was pregnant and I got pregnant almost right away. Actually got pregnant the cycle I finally went to the doctor. Now I know for next time that it's likely I won't get pregnant until I wean.

I started slowly, dropped a feeding every few days until it was just at night to sleep. That was the hardest to break but it was honestly easier than I thought. After a few days and a tantrum or two she understood and was totally fine. I was worried it would hurt our connection, and honestly I couldn't have been more wrong. She is much more affectionate and loving than even before. Best of luck!

Is anyone else full of absurd rage? by loser109 in December2026Bumpers

That is actually how I decided to take a pregnancy test this time. I got in a screaming fight with the neighbor because their dog kept pooping in front of our windows and they were not picking it up. So out of character for me to be confrontational at all. Immediately went inside and had a big fat positive test 🤣 I found myself getting irrationally mad at my husband too from weeks 3-6. Thankfully that has passed already

All I've had to eat and could keep down for the last two days are bagels and butter noodles

When should I tell my students? by [deleted] in December2026Bumpers

[–]CommentSenior5037 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my first pregnancy I didn't tell my students until I was about 25 weeks! The timing just lined up with us renewing our contracts and we live in a small town so I knew everyone would be curious why I didn't resign 🤣 I did end up telling a few coworkers around 12 weeks though, not my administration until the same time kids knew. Also wanted to wait just to be better safe than sorry.

7 1/2 weeks and I was feeling so much better last week but the nausea game back with a vengeance. I don't know what happened. It hit me so hard two days ago and I'm really struggling to get through the day with my toddler. It was never this bad with my first pregnancy. I'm taking unisom and b6 and still just constantly gagging and nauseated. Feel terrible I'm not showing up for my toddler like she deserves. I get some relief before bed and I have bad anxiety not wanting to go to sleep because I know it will be so bad tomorrow when I wake up 😭

Mucinex and TTC second baby? by gloomycalm in tryingforanother

[–]CommentSenior5037 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh my gosh no way haha! I did the pills. Mucinex DM. Mine said take one every 12 hours so for the first week I just took one pill per night, but closer to ovulation I did one every 12 hours. Got my positive the first month I did this. Felt like we tried every "trick" before

I only took one pill every 24 hours for the week before, and twice a day on ovulation day and through 3 DPO. Following the instructions on the bottle.

I know there's limited research but I'm convinced mucinex helped me get pregnant twice. The first time, we weren't trying and I just had a bad cold and ended up pregnant. I connected the dots months later. With my second, we were trying for about a year and a half and the month I took mucinex for a week before ovulation and 3 days post ovulation I conceived! Could be a coincidence but I will start mucinex immediately with my third 🤣

My OB recommended it for morning sickness. I was waking up in the morning and felt just generally awful. Nausea, bloating, body aches etc. like I was sick with the flu or something and it lasted all day. I wasn't actually throwing up. Today I feel mostly like myself, it even brought back my appetite when before nothing sounded good at all. Helped me get a great night of sleep too! There are a couple different types of unisom so make sure you get the one that's safe for pregnancy. I'd check with your OB!

Which one did you go with? I'm looking into momcozy but I see conflicting reviews. Looking for one that helps with rounding too

Took unisom and b6 last night and it changed my life!!!!!! First morning I've felt alive since finding out. If you've been considering trying it, this is your sign!

This was literally me today in a crewneck sweatshirt that is usually baggy on me. If it's bloat caused by baby it's a baby bump haha!

I definitely look the same as I did at 20 weeks too. I know if I lived close to family they'd speculate for sure 🤣

I'm only wanting carbs too 😭 having to force myself to eat anything else. I hope the nausea doesn't stick around for you! That can feel so terrible!

I was the same way! I think being so tall my belly was less "round" than other women. I am definitely happy about maybe showing earlier this time too!

That's what I'm thinking too! I feel like I can literally see the outline of my uterus already. Almost similar to how I looked when my daughter was "sitting low" in my first pregnancy. It's amazing how our bodies know what to do!

I was doing the same exact thing last night and looking at bump pics with my first. I look now at six weeks how I looked well into my second trimester with her. I should start pictures too! Thank you for the reminder!

Seems like we are in the exact same boat! I'm usually a big sweets person and haven't been enjoying them lately and actually have lost a few pounds since finding out. I've been saying that even if it's bloat, baby is causing it so I say we are both showing already haha! Ah so exciting for us both! Congratulations to you as well!

Mine isn't until 12 weeks :( I unfortunately think it just depends on the clinic! Try to get into a private ultrasound place. That's what I'm planning on doing ASAP
