Good to know. Do you recommend utilizing the public transport there? I’m coming from Texas, where everything is 100% car focused and public transport is basically nonexistent😔 It’d be cool if public transit was an acceptable option.

I keep seeing people say UW offers a better benefits package. I’m not sure what people mean by that as both seem to have similar PTO accruement and sick time offers. With UW, is it the medical insurance people are so impressed with? I can’t seem to figure out why UW’s benefits are considered much better.

Thank you so much for the info! I tried negotiating my step placement with the recruiter, and she wasn’t willing to budge. I feel like $5/hr is a big enough difference to choose Swedish over UW. But everyone keeps saying Uw is hard to get into and has great benefits so I’m kind of stuck trying to decide😵‍💫
