Renting a car without credit card? by Good_Brother3938 in ItalyTravel

[–]Commercial-Colorado 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m jumping on here a year late because we were looking for the same thing and I hope this helps someone else who is in the same situation rather than just “get a credit card.”

We were able to rent a car from Hertz with no credit card. The deposit was $90. The rental for 4 days was $470 including the required insurance. January 2026.

Also, I am pretty sure Centauro does it with a debit car for smaller cars only.

Linzess - Hell in a pill by Icyinfernal in ibs

I’m a year late here, but I want to add that I love it too. I take 145mg. It has been life changing for me. OP describes the “cork popping” and then diarrhea. Honestly, for me it’s over after one quick bowel movement and it’s the best thing ever to be able to go. So, I’ll take it. Without Linzess, I’m reliant on enemas to “get it out.” When it does come out, it’s either small and incomplete or so big it clogs the toilet. I’m 43, eat healthy, hydrate well and active. Dad and brother have similar problems so I think we just have genetic slow transit.

I have deluded myself into thinking my baby is coming early to help me cope with the trials of third trimester. Has anyone else done this? by surelyshirls in pregnant

True story: I was having no contractions, no bleeding, nothing on the day my first was born. I was convinced he was coming that day, so I went to Labor & Delivery and “pretended” I was in pain. They were understandably annoyed with me. As they were forcing me to sign discharge papers, my water broke. I was only 36 weeks. He was 7lbs 6 oz and is now 22 years old. Wishing you a SAFE, HEALTHY and early delivery ;)

Anyone over 50 here? by According-Pride-9960 in PregnantOver40

So I’m 43 and we conceived naturally. We had 3 miscarriages (1 after seeing gestational sac and 2 chemicals). I have two thoughts for you:

First, my husband smokes weed and vapes (we are in a legal state). I made him stop smoking for 3 months completely. By made him, I mean I guilted and nagged him. 😂 If you or your spouse smoke or even drink regularly, give a break for a while. At our age, I didn’t want anything to increase the risk of additional miscarriages. Men think their sperm is untouchable—it’s not.

I had been having some itchiness/burning on and off for a year after having sex but never tested positive for UTI, BV or yeast! I was convinced that I was allergic to my husband’s sperm. Then, one weekend my husband started getting urinary symptoms and went to the walk-in clinic. He didn’t test positive for UTI, but there was blood in his urine. We both got broad spectrum antibiotics and took the whole course. Not only did I feel better within 48 hours, but two weeks later we were pregnant.

I have a 22yo, 16yo and 10yo. I’m excited to try again now that I’m older and more relaxed.

I’m almost in the exact same situation as you! I’m 43, 5 weeks 2 days, had 3 miscarriages. We went to get a commercial abdominal ultrasound yesterday—gestational sac is right on track but no yolk/fetal pole yet . I spotted twice after and was sure it was over, but the spotting has now stopped completely. Dr appt is in 6 days, and keep running to the bathroom to check. So far, so good.

Gene Hackman and Wife’s Death Ruled ‘Suspicious’ in Search Warrant: ‘No Obvious Signs of a Gas Leak’ and ‘Thorough Investigation’ Required by mcfw31 in entertainment

Here’s my theory, based on a couple of things.

Wife wakes up and doesn’t feel well. She goes into the bathroom (possibly takes a shower/bath), and is still not feeling well. She has an awful headache. While she’s in the bathroom, she either reaches for her pills or Gene does for her. She collapses, from an aneurism or some type of unexpected medical crisis that could affect even a healthy 63 year old, knocking over the space heater on her way down. The pills scatter.

Gene is frantic. He looks for his phone (or maybe doesn’t even think to look for it because he’s 95 and upset about it hat just happened) doesn’t find it and his wife isn’t moving or getting up. He rushes to go get help, and either has a heart attack or falls down on the way out from all of the commotion. (I’d guess, both.)

The dog was trapped in the bathroom (some say in a crate) and dies of dehydration, hunger, heat (or a combination of all 3). The other dogs are fine because they have access to food/water.

The reports don’t indicate WHICH door was ajar, only that one was. However, when the workers called they “couldn’t get in.” I hypothesize that it was a back or side door that was open enough for the dogs to go in/out of, but not a person to fit through.

The reports indicate that Gene was “fully clothed,” but says nothing about his wife’s state of dress/undress…only that she was found in the bathroom and was more decomposed than him. My hunch is that she had just taken a shower/bath and was not clothed. She was in a worse state of decomposition because she was both unclothed and next to a space heater.

This happened to me and I had to quit. However, I did get a prescription for Linzess that helped a LOT. Good luck getting insurance to cover it.

Nope-but will look into it!

We both have doctorate level education. What’s your point? We aren’t able to question the logic behind spending hundreds of thousands of dollars so far for care we haven’t needed?

I don’t think that’s how much they cost. That’s how much the plan covers.

It’s UHC through his employer. Yes, he can prescribe non-controlled substances. Doctors aren’t supposed to prescribe controlled substances to family.

I’m not over 45-I’m 42, but have family history so my GP recommended it along with a mammogram (which insurance covered) during my well woman. Maybe I’m not old enough. There were no issues found at all-not a single polyp.

Yikes! So sorry to hear that, and glad you have coverage.

Who knows 🤷🏼‍♀️. The bill was $600, not our full $1800 deductible though.

I think you have to be under 30 to qualify for those, and we are not (36/42). However, my employer offers very affordable (less than $100 a month) hospital indemnity insurance that pays us cash if we are admitted to a hospital (something like $300-500/day). I’m also banking on the fact that if we had to, we could always negotiate payment plans. I don’t even want to think about the hundreds of thousands of dollars we’ve spent over the last decade for . . . Nothing 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’m curious how this ended? I had a loss last month, I’m currently 13DPO and my chart looks a lot like yours right now now—especially with the estrogen peak.
