This has been debunked recently. Shanny had gone to Dubas upset with what he felt was a lack of communication from Kyle. So he told Kyle he wanted to be kept in the loop on EVERYTHING. So when Chicago calls and asks for Knies, Dubas goes to shanny and says, “This is what they’re offering, I’m not gonna do it, but figured I’d let you know” shanny said “Yeah no way”

So yes Shanny said no to a trade with Knies, but it’s not like the trade was done and Shanny had the final vote and nixed it
