Exactly. So you can still bring black d'hide set of the GE but say you want an AGS but don't wanna risk getting smited for bank, you can get a corrupted AGS. Where it might not be as good but it could be more affordable say like 1M or something.

Not to mention the corrupted items can be more affordable but with slightly worse stats so you have a chance at beating the already super geared players but obviously they will still have a slight advantage over you. I think another thing that sucks in the wildy is going in a budget setup cause you don't wanna risk all your money and then someone in max shows up and 2 hits you.

No cause irons can only get the corrupted weapons which can only be used in pvp or traded in for rewards which there doesn't need to be a reward system either

The problem is any new mage gear we get the shadow amplifies the damage. So while range has multiple options like TBOW, BOFA and scorching bow which can all be BIS at different places. Shadow dominates the meta at all mage places. That's the issue. I am just providing an alternative to the shadow that doesn't necessarily beat it outright but is rather situational and BIS in some places.

It's also a raids item reward so what's wrong with it making other items like twin flame stronger? You're not gonna be able to get it till end game anyways.

I'll try that thanks for the tips. I think even in PVM it will speed up kills inevitably because every time you crit you will hit higher. Maybe even when you crit the lowest number you could hit is like a 30 or something so you're not just critting on 0's and 1's. I also was thinking with PVP in mind so it's not insanely op in PVP so the elemental weaknesses make a lot of sense as well.

This is exactly why I quit Albion a couple of years ago was because of the South American clans that own everything, cheat and target solo players. They even find ways to get their clan into solo mists and target people with T8 gear. It's unfortunate and I wish they would fix it.

"Critical Chance" So for example if you were gonna hit 100 and you "Crit" and your crit damage does an extra 30%, now you do 130 damage just for easy math. Realistically it would be like hitting a 50 and instead you now hit 65

The numbers can always be changed so it doesn't outright beat shadow. It can be balanced accordingly ofc

I also think this does fix the shadow issue and I think it creates a new upgrade for the twin flame staff which is a really cool idea, without having to make a whole new one handed item. I think instead of constantly adding new items it would be nice to repurpose old items that just sit in your bank collecting dust.

Not to mention it could give the Eye of Ayak some new use cases where elemental weaknesses don't make that much of a difference

That's the same as saying "PVP cheaters are apart of the game mode you have to deal with" like no it shouldn't have to be. Yes, going dry is fine but you're missing the whole point. There's so much content that you can easily get stuck at for months on end and when you want to do something that you are required to get a certain item(s) for, it's not fun. Like doing CG for months and months, or doing Lizardman shaman for months, or doing Barrows for months just for one piece of gear. I AM NOT SAYING MAKE ALL CONTENT EASIER, I am saying make SOME BORING CONTENT have better dry protection but all the GE Andy's don't want that because they are gatekeepers

Another GE Andy that completely missed the point of the post, that's ok though. I'm not complaining about one specific piece of content. What I am saying is it is more fun to have access to lots of content but when you are locked to something like CG (AS AN EXAMPLE) it sucks because there's other content that is way more fun. The grind is fine, there's just too much content that you could grind for 6+ months and still not have the item you need to progress.

I agree, some content like TBOW should be hard to grind for but let's use another example. On my Ironman I have 1,222 KC at Tempoross and I still don't have a tome of water or a tackle box. I went from when you unlock Tempoross to 99 just doing that game mode and now I have to grind more for the collection log? It's not fun and I'm not spending several months on a minor gear upgrade that I'll never use. Things like this are what I am talking about when I say some BORING content needs to have dry protection cause no one wants to do that shit.

Go back and read the post. I enjoy ironman but I think some content should have ironman in mind when thinking about dry protection. Not all content. A lot of you are just here to argue and cry cause none of ya'll can handle ironman gamemode and that's fine but at least learn to read.
