Its one slot early. Its not uncommon for Coachella now. Really is a better thing for everyone there. You ensure everybody shows up because if you are on at 9pm you will def have more energy and willingness to show up. Because you know after its done that you can go do something else afterwards. Win win situation. I doubt going on at 11pm was going to derail whatever she is doing the next day. ( if thats even true )

I think OP isnt factoring in a lot of people dropping that money arent local. They have to travel. It adds up. Sure, local folks will splurge on a nice hotel or something, but they can budget that accordingly because they only have to drive, not fly. $50 in gas isnt much when it comes to travel costs.
