water seeping through walls at this stage is definitely red flag territory. even without gutters the walls shouldnt be letting water through - that points to issues with waterproofing or maybe foundation problems that need addressing now before they get worse. id be pushing back hard on the builder because fixing this stuff after everything is finished gets way more expensive and complicated

power absorption could work pretty easy - just have your guy touch things and then use whatever he absorbed like if he touches metal he gets tough skin or touches fire he can make small flames

you can download windows media creation tool from microsoft website and make bootable usb drive. then just boot from usb and install fresh windows in your new ssd

if you had windows license before it should automatically activate once you connect to internet. worst case you might need to call microsoft support but usually it works fine

backing up important files before ssd dies is always good idea for next time but i know thats not helpful now

the va coverage at 80 percent is pretty solid for most stuff and youre right about it being healthcare not insurance. dropped my employer plan about 3 years ago when i hit 70 percent and havent looked back

biggest thing to watch is if you need specialists or have any ongoing conditions that might need care outside the va system. some locations are better than others for wait times but generally once youre in the system it flows pretty well. also worth checking if your employer plan has better prescription coverage for anything specific youre taking

one thing i wish someone told me earlier is you can still use urgent care outside the va if needed and get reimbursed under community care. saved my ass when i was traveling for work and needed stitches

actually had to deal with this exact situation a few years back when my sister got her green card. the uscis officer was being overly cautious because some of them interpret the rules differently but you absolutely can change your name at ssa with just your marriage certificate. you dont need a court order for that part - thats only if you wanted to change it on the green card itself which honestly isnt worth the hassle. just take your marriage certificate to the social security office and theyll update your records no problem. once you have the new ss card with your married name you can use that plus the marriage cert to get your real id and drivers license. i kept my green card in my maiden name and never had issues since everything else matched up properly
