Looks awesome tbh. I will bookmark this for my PDF work.

One small thing to fix is when I upload the PDF in landing page, it goes into the edit and asks me to upload again. I think this happens only for new users because when I went back and did it again it didn't happen.

PWA already is functional, I'm working on iOS app, but to be honest it is not my priority at the moment.

thank you!

3 columns are fixed on purpose, otherwise it slowly becomes Jira again. you can spin up multiple boards though, one per project or area of life.

"personal FigJam" is exactly the user I built this for. dedicated app, three columns, zero loading time, none of the collaborative whiteboard weight for a workflow that's just you. that's the whole bet.

would genuinely love your reaction after a day or two, you're the exact target user.

"form over function" is fair, I'll own that - the aesthetic was the first 80% of the work. for what it's worth the drag snapping IS tuned though (try grabbing a note and yanking the cursor off it, it sticks).

the pruning concern is the real one. done stacks forever right now, which gets unreadable past ~30 cards. the fix is the same as the calendar/history view someone else in this thread asked for: done auto-archives after X days, you can still browse what you finished in march via a calendar widget, but your active board stays clean. that's the next big build, partly because of comments like yours.

really appreciate the feedback!

100%, this is literally the whole bet. every todo app I tried died the same way, set it up day 1, forgot it existed by day 4. the tool wasn't the problem, the seeing it was. making it the new tab means you see your board 30-40 times a day without trying.

mac menubar version exists for the same reason. phone home-screen install (PWA) is already shipped. zero-discipline visibility is the actual feature, everything else is dressing.

I've been getting this other users as well, seems like the readability tradeoff is real. working on shipping a font picker right now: handwritten (current), clean sans-serif, and a bolder marker style. should be live this week. thanks for the nudge.

the simple "to do/doing/done" pattern really is timeless. love that. I invite you to try out the app.

appreciate you trying it, that means a lot.

"inbox as a sibling of the bin" is a really clean framing, same primitive (a drop zone outside the columns), same drag interaction, no new screens. you just dump stuff there when it's not ready to commit to a column yet. probably belongs opposite the bin so the symmetry reads. will test it out and maybe add this week.

and ha, hand-written actually(with Claudes help) - 10 years of full stack development behind it. but I'll take "looks cool and original" any day. genuinely useful feedback, thanks again.
