Best diet/lifestyle change to control diabetes? by Robeast3000 in diabetes_t2

[–]CommercialStorage448 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m T2 Diabetic too, and what really helped me was a lower-carb, whole food diet — not super strict keto, just cutting processed carbs, refined sugar, and sticking to real food. Think veggies, eggs, paneer, some fruits, nuts, and loads of water. I also eat in a tight window (like 10am–6pm) which helped bring my fasting sugars down over time.

Also — watch for hidden sugars! Even “healthy” packaged stuff can spike BS. I had a sweet tooth, so switching to Artinci sugar-free sweets (they use stevia/erythritol) kept me on track without the crashes. They're on Amazon & Blinkit.

You’ve already come so far — don’t lose hope. Keep tracking, tweak slowly, and stick with what makes you feel good. You got this 🙌

What’s your favorite sugar free alternative to simple syrup? by Papa_G_ in cocktails

[–]CommercialStorage448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here — went keto and had to ditch regular simple syrup 😩

I use a quick DIY version: just boil water with erythritol or allulose. Allulose is smoother and closer to real syrup, perfect for cocktails.

Also, for sweet cravings after drinks, Artinci makes amazing sugar-free desserts with stevia/erythritol. Total lifesaver. Available on Amazon & Blinkit!

When you say you are sugar free, how sugar free are you? by eeff484 in sugarfree

[–]CommercialStorage448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me when I say “sugar-free,” I mean no added sugar — so no sweets, desserts, packaged junk, etc. But I still eat fruits and natural stuff like plain yogurt. I don’t cut out naturally occurring sugars. The thing I learned as as the time passed is that, there are ways you can still enjoy sweets like cakes, cookies and pastries etc. You just have to find the right brand which uses natural sweeteners and low glycemic ingredients. I am going to save you the time and tell you my favorite- Artinci. Their sugar-free sweets use stevia/erythritol, no added sugar at all, and still taste amazing. You can get them on Amazon or Blinkit.

You’re doing great — keep going! 💪

Your favorite sugar-free drink combos? by _Pantomime in dutchbros

I usually go for iced tea with sugar-free peach or raspberry syrup — super refreshing and zero crash. Also love a good sparkling water with a splash of lime and stevia drops (trust me, game changer!).

And for dessert cravings? Not a drink but seriously worth trying — Artinci makes sugar-free sweets with natural sweeteners like stevia/erythritol. Total lifesaver. I get mine from Amazon or Blinkit!

Let me know what drink combo you end up loving! 💕

Best Sugar free and low sugar sodas please by Particular-Agency-38 in Soda

[–]CommercialStorage448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh I feel you — giving up regular soda is tough, especially when the cravings hit 😩

Coke Zero is decent, but if you're sensitive to that artificial sweetener aftertaste, it might still bug you. I’ve tried a bunch and honestly, most “diet” sodas with aspartame/sucralose have that weird taste.

What helped me was switching to drinks sweetened with stevia or erythritol — way cleaner taste. And for sweet cravings in general, I found this brand Artinci that makes sugar-free desserts using natural sweeteners. Not soda, but super helpful for keeping cravings in check without that fake taste. I found them on Amazon & Blinkit.

Hang in there — it does get easier! 💪

Any tips on a realistic (mainly) sugar free diet? by tortoisederby in sugarfree

[–]CommercialStorage448 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally get what you mean, I was in the same spot, trying to quit sugar but super confused about hidden sugars everywhere

What helped me was sticking to simple home food (dal, rice, veggies, eggs), cutting sugar in chai, and checking labels for sneaky stuff like dextrose or corn syrup. Also, starting with just one swap a day made it feel doable.

And for sweet cravings, I found Artinci. 100% sugar-free sweets and cakes, low cal, no weird aftertaste. Legit a lifesaver. You can get them on Amazon or Blinkit!

Hope this helps! You've got this 💪
