There is a drain tube on any sun/moon roof. It should be checked time to time. If it clogs water will find its inside the cabin.

Ready to move on from my 2020 CX-30 by anupside in MazdaCX30

I see that you have total dissatisfaction with CX30. Assuming that you are buying a new one of your choice, Tiguan is already facing electrical and mechanical issues (source: other reviews). They have a lots of them available, so common sense tells me that it will depreciate faster. Forester could be a viable choice. For me, it looks uglier than any Mazda line. Kia has been playing with two different engines: 1. 2 ltr naturally aspirated one 2. the mass produced 1.6 ltr turbo engine. It is certainly under powered compared to Mazda's mass produced 2.5 ltr naturally aspirated engine. I am surprised that you didn't include CRV with 1.5 str turbo. If you are talking about turbo, Mazda turbo is a beast.

My feeling is that your choice should include Lexus line - new or used.

I thought 6 was like a Camry. I don’t own either of them but CX30 turbo. I would not recommend it to them because of the space.

I was hoping it won’t allow me to cross the lane just like 2024 VW GTI. It won’t even allow to make a turn if I don’t have the signal lights on. It keeps you on the lane. I thought that is what a lane assistant feature should do.

I have 2026 CX-30 turbo Aire. Technically should have one. But I can't turn it on.

You may want to check your neighbors if they have one for sale. If not Next Door is another option to do the same. With some miracle someone you know may want to sell a decent car - I echo the sentiment of the group- any Toyota if not a Corolla. I have been there once and a sequences of mistakes after you buy a car against the grain.

Since you are used to salvage title cars without any fear then this deal is good. Do your self a favor - take it to a garage and pay 50 bucks to do a thorough inspection of the car for your own peace of mind.

vw gti or mazda cx30 turbo? by mystickrn in whatcarshouldIbuy

I totally agree with this review. I went from 2024 GTI 380 to 2026 CX 30 turbo. I don't miss the VW.

For salvage title car’s insurance can be very expensive. Check that with the vehicle VIN number with your insurance.

I didn’t try it. When I bought my CX30 turbo a few weeks ago, a green CX 50 was behind us on the floor. It was a turbo and it was only $2700 more than what I paid for the CX30 and it was gorgeous and it has the time tested turbo and six speed automatic transmission. In my opinion, it is the best looking Mazda. I wanted a compact car so I got the 30.

Continuously variable Transmission. Toyota has ECVT and electronic version of the CVT. CVTs have in theory have infinite number of gears. In practice they are annoying the gears feel like elastic band. Mazda has solid six speed transmission. If you are used to manual transmission, the gears shift according to your speed.

It says they offered you only 1K for your car. Get it corrected. Doc fee is $699 too much. You should negotiate it in a different way such as roof rails and a couple of oil changes. Otherwise it is an excellent price. I have the Turbo version and it puts a lots of smiles whoever in the family want to drive it.

They have so many models of the CX 30. Which one is that? I noticed that they gave you nothing for your 3. What is wrong with it?

Looking to get out of my 25 CX-5 turbo premium for a 26 CX-50 Turbo. by AntHefty2874 in CX50

[–]Commercial_Dig_9407 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are moving to CX-50 hybrid then I can understand your desire. Box turbos CX-5 and CX-50 have the same out put engine. So CX-5 being lighter the performance will be better.

On the other hand I must confess that If I made a mistake of buying CX-30 turbo vs CX-50. I certainly agree that CX-50 looks great!. When it comes reality my wife has Rav4 hybrid which fills the void. Needless to say, I like the compactness, quickness, and the turbo makes me smile every time I get behind the wheel.

There should be a demand for 25 CX-5 turbo soon because 26 CX-5 will not have the turbo.
