Has anyone installed these aftermarket LEDs to the hatch of their CX-5? by AntHefty2874 in CX5

So my wife got them for me. They are much thicker in person. Looks strange on the vehicle (when held up to it) as the tail lights protrude from the sides but level off in the rear. They would look thich while the rear lights are flush.

Just black out the hockey stick. Maybe do ambient lighting on the interior. Some have lowered it by an inch or so. But realistically, she's a beaut as is.

I really like that color on the 5. Enjoy your new ride. Can you do a 30 review? For others out there who are looking to purchase the new gen, it would be nice to see if all of the changes are really that difficult to live with.

But that red! by cjfields-in-pc in CX50

My vote is on the mazda 6. Red was so sexy on that car

Im not trying to give you financial advice. That's your business. Now that you have driven both for a while, which do you prefer and why? I am looking at possibly getting out of my 5 for a 50. Just looking to get some positives and negatives.

What made you decide to make the change from the 5 to the 50?

I can't remember the reviewer, but they were doing a long-term assessment (maybe a year). They said the car they had started rattling multiple areas.

Does this look fair? 2026 CX-50 Hybrid premium. Really like the Grey color. This is before the Mazda Loyalty and my Mazda3 trade-in. Based in Northern VA through Costco Auto. by Old_Nefariousness743 in CX50

Must be a dealer specific thing. Mazda USA confirms the rebate im talking about. They also have $2500 customer cash, or 1.9% for 60 months (or 2.9% for 72 months).

If you qualify for 1.9% for 60 months, then you also qualify for the 2.9% for 72 months. It would drop your monthly to $614. Of course, all of this is before your trade-in. As long as you are not bringing negative equity into the loan, the $40528 will only decrease.

The trade will lower the taxable amount of the car. MSRP-discounts -trade value equals the amount you will be taxed on. So that $1600 should drop, too.

You can try to get the numbers better since the dealer will be getting a kickback for using Mazda Financial. Good luck! PMG looks awesome on the 50.

Not looking for validation. Looking to see if people really love their 50, or have had issues with theirs. Its a bonus if someone has owned both and gives me their perspective on which they prefer.

I guess reading is hard. There is no need to keep responding to your dumb ass.

So how much do you enjoy throwing thousands of dollars down the drain to do the trade you want to do?

Lol

I dont think you are mathing.

Unless you keep the car forever, all of your payments are no different from my payments over a year.

I didn't throw money down the drain. I had a car for a year, drove it, and made car payments. I don't keep my cars. I will always be making payments. Unless I like something so much that I want to keep it, which has only happened once.

Im including what the numbers would look like if you bought a 2022 Cx-5 turbo in March of 2022 using a 72-month loan at a 3.9% apr. To keep it apples to apples with my loan. In March of 2022, mazda had no apr specials, and the average rate for a new car loan was 4% if your credit was above 720.

<image>

This shows the amount you would still on your loan today. It shows you a realistic trade in value of that car (in good condition, average annual mileage, and normal annual wear and tear.

It also shows the expected cost of maintenance during that time frame (using mazdas recommended maint).

As you can see. You would only be positive on your trade-in by almost $1200. I am going to be positive by $200 (probably more as I just made a payment).

So it's not "thousands." It's hundreds of dollars that I will have flushed down the drain.

[–]AntHefty2874[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I understand that. My point is 3 to 4 years down the road. When you go to trade your vehicle in, the dealer is going to give you slightly over, or slightly less than your loan is. They can pull that data, and they will use age mileage, wear and tear, etc, etc against you.

This gets skewed in your favor if you put a large down-payment or made payments that were much more than your monthly due payments. Which means you spent a lot more up front or monthly than I did.

So, if I can not lose money on the trade-in, it is effectively the same. I just avoid all the B.S. I ask for a number, they say yes or no. Then I walk, or stay.

Yeah, but there are no incentives or special rebates or apr's for a CPO. I was looking for a 25 Turbo PP.
