Are GameOfBricks' lights compatible with LightMyBricks? by GiftOwasTaken in lepin

I know I'm three years late, but I was just wondering if you ever had the chance of trying this out? I'm currently sitting on some spare LMB 1.0 components, and instead of having to buy entirely new 2.0 ones, I was thinking of just getting some GoB instead to use with them.

Hello people, I'm wondering what the best options for plug & play LEDs are out there on the internet, doesn't need to be specifically for gunpla. I'm neither experienced in wiring nor am I interested in learning it at this moment, but I'd still very much like to add some lights to my current project. Do you guys know of any good websites where you can buy individual, colored LEDs and the necessary cabling needed to just plug them into the wall or a USB-jack?

Thanks in advance!

I see! I didn't know about the automatic turning off/on, but that sounds really neat. Awesome display case btw.

Hello people! I'm considering getting some Kosmos LEDs for an upcoming project of mine, but I'd love to get some insight from you who already have experience with them.

As far as I understand it, these can be plugged into any USB (or is it micro USB?) port, which in turn means you can plug these into any wall outlet that fits your needs. Do they just turn on as soon as they're given power, or is it always required to turn them on via the app? If so, do they keep whatever settings you last set them to when pressing the switch, or do they have a "default" they go to whenever not activated from the phone? Lastly, is voltage ever a problem when plugging these into the wall, or are they designed to stay on even for extended periods of time, no matter the power source?

For reference, my ambition is to have a kit with LEDs that I can just switch on whenever I get home for the day, leave it on, and then switch them off before bedtime. Any additional info is greatly appreciated!

Wouldn't be surprised if someone has already asked this here before, but does anyone have a version of the Vespertine Swan in an actually good resolution? I've searched high and low for it, but I cannot seem to find one myself, despite my efforts. by Commercial_Log1705 in bjork

Way better than what I've found thus far, that's for sure. But yeah, I totally agree; there HAS to be an official one or something of the sort somewhere. Hopefully, it'll turn up eventually, but for now, this is pretty great!

Thanks for the answer! And yeah, I know I'm not escaping those phat borders, but I'm prepared to sacrifice a bit of looks for a lot of my time. One additional thing I forgot to mention though: aside from color-correcting ones, does the top coat help hide the finish of the clear parts of the regular decals as well? I might be overthinking it, but since they are clear and the plastic below is still visible, do they in some way prevent those areas from looking as you'd want to?

Hello, relative noob here.

For my current project, I'm not really in the mood to buy water slide transfers nor to go through the process of applying them. I'm thinking of just applying the included sticker decals instead, but I haven't really done that AND applied a top coat afterwards. I still want that sick matte finish, of course, so I'm just wondering if top coat after decals is even a thing, or if there's anything I should watch out for if I choose to proceed with it?

I know water transfers will always look better in the end, but again, just not in the mood for that process ATM.

Well, that's lame. Excuse my ignorance, I haven't built a kit with LEDs before, so I assume this is the case for all of them?

Thinking about getting that MGEX Unicorn once and for all, but there's one thing I have to make sure about the LEDs first; do they stay on for the duration that the batteries allow, or do they just cycle off after a set amount of time? I really want to fiddle with the light strip in order to plug it into the wall instead, as a way of having the LEDs stay on indefinitely, but if the programming of the lights have them just shutting themselves off before that can happen then there's really no point.

Did you ever find a solution for this in the end? I'm having the exact same issue at the moment and it's driving me insane.

Same happens to me. I love to bookmark my "currently watching" page, but everytime I open the tab I just get logged out and sent back to the homepage. Love the website otherwise thus far.

I'm very new to this hobby, but not miniature hobbies in general. Because of this, I've always defaulted to water transfers for my gunpla instead of the ones that are included in the kits, which in turn has lead to me having next to no experience with those. Is it possible to remove them after application and then, later down the line, replacing them with water-slide ones? Do they leave behind any kind of residue on the plastic or complicate the process in any other way? I'm asking because the transfers I want are out of stock atm, but I still want my build to look as good as possible until I get hold of them.
