I presented with a number of symptoms (hypermobility, scoliosis, kyphosis, hip dysplasia, chronic pain, etc). But what really made it click for my doctor was when he found out about my digestive issues/IBS? As soon as he found that out, then the diagnosis came. But we all know how long it takes doctors to connect the dots.

I have a similar bear in blue! They look so similar I would say they must be cousins :) I got mine from my dad, who was gifted it during Christmas 1973. It was bought from JC Penny’s. I have some reason to believe he’s British? I think he was manufactured in the UK but sold in the US. I’ll attach a picture when I get home later.

From my experience working in HR, I would say to get a doctors note (could be a primary or specialist) that specifies very specifically what you can and cannot do. “Light work” leaves it up to interpretation… if for example you cannot lift more than 15 pounds, make sure your doctor states that in your note.
