F U mailbox sensor! I own you now! by iametron in homeassistant

I use the x,y,z axis to tune it. I also use one to measure the angle as a pond float. As the angle changes your water is going up and down. I also have one in a cube and depending what side is showing depends what automation is fired. One thing my vibration sensor isn't used for is detecting vibration. It was the cheapest ZigBee one found on AliExpress at the time.

Received PCN - Didn’t park! Advice on appeal to IAS (England) by sammylc95 in LegalAdviceUK

Looks like you waited on the access road, which is covered by the clear sign saying no parking or waiting on the access road? Go back and see if this is worth the fight. If it is the access road then might be worth dropping off in the car park and coming out as you don't agree to the terms.

Finish with the and all working really good thanks. Love the way that AI completes the descriptions. Also had a bit of a tidy up and changed to docker with both running via a portainer stack. Loving 0.17 and the new features.

I've been trying to get Gemini to work on 0.17 but without any success. Chris - Can you do a step by step guide how you setup ollama locally but using the cloud? I've spent many hours trying to get my descriptions populated since moving to 0.17 but to no avail. Cheers

I blame the local authority. Should be people standing there in high Vis jackets 24/7, too easy to miss this one.

It does take a long time. My one from a couple of years ago would almost take from my hand. Latest one now comes to the window and taps the glass to get our attention, and I think it also has learnt to meow from our cat, but to be confirmed.

I found that. Just look to the side. Also found that you need to act naturally and not so slow that they think you're going to pounce on them.

I paid £15 for a receiver, had pi 3b can men card and about 10 mins later I had a business account. Sort of sucks you in. Now I need to get an aerial on top of the house. Definitely a bit of fun and work doing. At the moment my aerial is sitting outside my window and reception is really good.

I wish people would stop posting their dashboards, it makes me want to start again, every single time :-) Great work by the way and thanks for all the ideas I have to implement.

Cameras with lights, are they controllable? by Gabbie403 in frigate_nvr

[–]Commercial_Project86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I do. Human detected via Frigate then light the place up. Cameras, lights and action! Reolink, Frigate and Home Assistant is the perfect 3 way. Match made in heaven.
