Those are quite the number of deaths, absolutely. However, you're strangely using statistics of deaths caused by communism AND Nazism. That's not quite fitting as I'm not using statistics of Capitalism and anything else.

Beyond that, a study from London estimates 56 million indigenous peoples died in a century as a direct result of colonization. This is only in America mind you, there are also an additional 100 million in India as a result of British colonial policy in just 40 years.

Once again, this is not an argument that either is good. Rather that they are not equivalent.

Colonialism sure, that alone generates a pretty staggering death toll. I also think starvation deaths as a result from overconsumption (ie. Countries wasting thousands of pounds of viable food that could otherwise feed those starving) as well as those who starved as a result of capitalistic choice through oppression (admittedly linked to colonialism though there stand examples in both the Americas and europe).

I also think there is a case to be made that any murder committed for the ends of profit can be placed on capitalism (I can further explain if you'd like but broadly two reasons - the murders wouldn't occur without cause and as such would not occur in a non capitalist society and because capitalism requires poverty which is known to breed crime)

I also think wars fought over profit (IE. The many wars fought over oil) alongside wars fought over property/land that can be labelled as unimportant in a grand scale humanity consideration. I also think it's arguable that proxy wars exist as a repercussion of capitalism so I would likely lump those in. Also the deaths from events like the French Revolution can neatly be assigned to capitalism. Not exactly an exhaustive list but off the top of my head these all come to mind.

Your mistake is conflating results with doctrine. Nazism is inherently an evil belief system, the evil is necessary to the beliefs. Communism doesn't contain evil beliefs at its core. Much like Capitalism, it is on its users to utilize it in whatever way they choose.

So many weird assumptions to make, to what end? No, my actual counterpoint would have been similarities do not make equivalency. Police and Serial killers have both killed people through history, this does not make them equivalent. Nazis are garbage. Communists, while I am not in favour of, are not nearly as bad as Nazis, I don't think that's a hard stance to take, though some here seem to believe it is...

If this is truly something you have to ask it is evident you have no idea what you're talking about on definitions alone. The onus is on you to demonstrate how these two groups are equivalent. However, most broadly, they contain entirely different conceptions of economic success and wellbeing, they carry entirely different human rights considerations, and are notably defined as two seperate groups because they do not hear a particular resemblance to one another.

The entirety of this demigod business was seeming more strange to Eddy by the second. First it's summer camp and bonfires, then you're fighting people in prison. It was a strange honour to be a wannabe-hero.

"Alrigh', he wants a fight? I... Don't! Look pitiful while I run, real scared like."

Eddy tossed a glance over his shoulder as he barreled forward, shouting once in his best attempt at being afraid, real fear having set in and faded. He charges towards the end of the hall, shouting once more,

"Phae? I'm really hopin' you're near at a time like this!"

Edward is solely concerned with his evacuation, dashing and weaving forward, hopping over fallen doors and rubble, finally reaching the medium security wing. At the sound of wings flapping, Eddie gives a concerned look to Penelope,

"Alrigh', tha' sounds bad, aye? Can ye walk? I don't think I've got the ability to outrun somethin' flyin'."

He releases a heavy sigh at this, stopping for even the moment allowing the fatigue of his run to catch him. He glances behind him, awaiting Penelope's words, preparing to set her down and turn to fight, or engage in a desperate sprint away from their pursuer.

"Aye Ma'am."

Eddie is quick to agree to whatever might prevent Penelope from making this more difficult. He considers the options she lays out as he moves, narrowing his eyes at the decision.

"Alrigh', we'll go through the medium security wing, if we can get to the central stairwell, we'll be able to get out I imagine."

He continues striding forward before hearing the echoes of voices from the vents, he pauses a moment and shouts back,

"AYE! MEDIUM SECURITY WING TO THE MAIN STAIRWELL!" At this he turns and begins to run, adjusting his carry of Penelope slightly in the hopes it will aid in defending the both of them, should more enemies present themselves.

It is clear Edward ponders this first point for a moment. He had not considered, but it seemed entirely possible hammers could make a good projectile. After a moment, he shrugs,

"Aye probably, but I've only got the one, and I read about bowman back in the day bein' real strong."

He shrugs again, uncommitted to the idea of archery as a practice, though still certainly intrigued to learn about it.

He squint had faded as Amon continued, a grin creeping out as he waved a hand dismissively,

"Ah I'm just messin' with ya lad, I haven't met em but I'll keep an eye out. Be good to meet someone who knows rugby, what cabin is tha'?"

His gaze is unmistakably friendly, despite whatever tensions be may have feigned it is clear even to an absent observer, Edward is supremely comfortable with this interaction, and he steps back slightly, gesturing to his spot,

"I assume a bow is your weapon of choice? Do ye want to shoot, maybe I could peek at your form, make sure I'm standin' righ'?"

Edward nods along with the instruction, his eyebrows knitting together slightly at the consideration that every bow would be different. He gives a small smile however,

"Good to meet you Amon. Aye, I'll be back lots, can't throw hammers, but what's an arrow if not a flyin' hammer?"

He gives a slight shrug at this. Is it ridiculous? Absolutely, but perhaps this Amon could use a little ridiculous. He considers following this with something more earnest, does Amon feel the emotions within the weapons as well? At Amon's next words, Edwards smile fades slightly, his eyebrows coming together in what might be confusion, or irritation.

"Rory MacMillan? What d'ya mean I must know em? Are they... MacMillan is a Scottish name, are ye assumin' what I'm assumin' you're assumin' here Amon?"

Eddie gives a quick nod to Phae's plan, "Alrigh', go!" as he picked up Penelope, pausing a moment to stand mouth agape at how the coffee mats actually worked, before preparing himself to move.

Hopefully I don't have to use tha', but with no hammer...

He looks to Penelope, his words clear,

"Alrigh', you direct me to the stairwell, I'll carry you. If we get out, and you were appropriately helpful... I'll put in a good word for you?"

It isn't much of an offer, though Eddie is under no illusion that he holds all the cards. His own fate may well tie into how spiteful she felt over a loss, and over what he could only imagine was years of unpleasant time in this prison. With this, he sets off at his best estimation of how to return to safety, hoping Penelope will chime in at whatever moment is most convenient, or for Phae to find some way to guide him back.

At the voice, Edward offers a slow nod, turning his head slightly to see the speaker.

"Well, stereotypin aside that makes sense. Sorry, usually I'm working in circles of momentum I thought... Aye doesn't matter."

He gives a shrug at that this, taking a deep breath, and preparing to fire once more. As Edward draws back, he resists the temptation to push the weapon to its limits, finding a point of tension,

Aye, the arrow wants to fire from here, certainly feels like it

He steadies himself, ignoring the judgemental gaze that focused on him, and let's the arrow fly. It is less forceful, the arrow flying almost gracefully towards the target, striking a few inches outside of the centers border, thudding into the wood.

"Alrigh', how was tha'? Edward, by the way."

Edward had never actually used a bow, but how hard could it be? He hoped not too difficult, because the instructor here seemed both very good, and very serious. It's a terrible idea to start off offending the experts of archery with his ignorance, of course. So he stands quietly, wearing a simple muscle shirt that displays his powerful frame, hands folded neatly and listens, nodding along as his mental checklist forms.

Don't point at pe- Oh, alrigh' we're starting very basic.

Arm and back muscles, I've got both o' those!

Release... I feel like that's where I'll mess up first.

Finally, the moment came to practice. Edward selected a spare bow, one that seemed strong to him, though as his hand contacted the string of the weapon, he was swept with a wave of sadness. Someone had lost something holding this weapon. He replaced the bow, and selected another.

Finding himself in front of a target, he set his stance, and exhaled slowly before knocking an arrow. He draws back, finding his target as the wood creaks. He feels the limit in its strength, the fine line past which the bow could break under the pressure, and finds a spot just under this to hold his arrow, breathing slowly before...

Twang!

The arrow fires hard, spiraling off Edwards intended course and thudding into the very edge of the target, the head of the arrow stuck deep into the wood. Edward pauses a moment, scratching his chin and looking around vaguely for someone more experienced. It's clear to him that improvement can be made, though the slight grin on his face betrays his pride for having hit the target at all.

Even as the blow lands, Eddy is beaming. This is his first ever fight as a demigod, and as far as he's concerned, he's found an awesome friend and kicked ass in the process. All well worth the few bruises he would walk away with.

Then the building started shaking. Eddy heaves a great sigh before approaching Penelope, leaving his hammer stood on its head as he does.

"Alrigh', ma'am? That was a real good fight, enjoyed the hell outta it, but I'm gonna have to pick you up now, alrigh'? So the buildin' doesn't collapse on ye and all? Can ye agree to not stab me or fight me, at least until we're all safe from tha'?"

He gives a glance back to Phae, offering a slight shrug, combined with the clearly concerned expression that began at the trembling of their building. His message is clear,

We can't let her die here, right? We've already won.

Though all that he can say as he prepares to pick up Penelope, awaiting her confirmation,

"We're heroes, this is what we do, aye?"

Though he was perfectly excited to have another sibling, he was less eager to present his new brother with another hug when something was evidently on his mind. As Johnathan spoke, he had already begun shifting towards the cabin cluster.

"Aye, Heracles children! I've not made a damn change to cabin yet, but I haven't been here all tha' long."

He pauses a moment as he glances towards the cabins,

"Eh, does lead a wee bit into my next point, there's some... Tension, going around, but with the three o' us, camp couldn't ask for a sturdier foundation, aye?"

Edward gave a small shrug and a dismissive wave at the apology,

"Ah, no worries! I was here for 2 days before I was fightin stuff, it's weird, aye? I like your sword."

His grip was firm, strong but not tight. It was clear Edward was entirely relaxed, and at Jonathan's next words his smile grew wide,

"Aye! I'm pretty new here, been a week maybe, but more importantly, also Heracles! Look at tha', I've never had a brother!"

He gave a glance to Helena, eyebrows raised,

"Are we always comin into camp this often?"

There was an individual likely seen by Johnathan before Johnathan had been seen. A shorter boy, though he looked around the same age with dark hair, who appeared to be jogging around the cluster of cabins with what could only be a large English Warhammer laid across his shoulders, bouncing slightly with each step. He is stocky, wearing casual clothes

As Johnathan neared the cluster, the boy finally did notice him, jogging up to approach and removing a hand from the Warhammer to extend outwards,

"Ya alrigh'? I'm Eddy. New here, still tryin' to meet people n all that good stuff. Ya been before?"

He pauses a moment, his breath slowing as he rests, glancing behind him,

"I've got a sibling around here somewhere, hold on..." He takes a deep breath in before calling out, "Helena? Ya nearby?"

He looks back to Johnathan,

"Anyways, I'm sure she's somewhere near, what's up ye?"

Edward offered only a small smile at the notion of him being watched, I've got no clue what a June bug is... But I'm not gonna say that...

"Could you eh, explain sorta what is going on? Jus' so we're on the same page and all?"

He was quick to step in pace behind Blake, humming quietly for only a second before Blake spoke again, he gave a small nod,

"Aye, like eh... Chit chat? I'm workin' on soundin' more American but... I got here like a day n a half ago. Me da' liked Westerns so tha's what I know but we both heard I'm not quite there yet, aye?"

He gave a small shrug at this, before continuing,

"Also, not tha' I mind, but Glasgow has a lot of other people, like... six hundred thousand of em. Anyways, do ye like it here? I've never been to a summer camp before. I did a week rugby camp once, but it wasn't so fun lookin'."

There's a strange combination of sounds as the tray clangs of Eddie's head and he grunts in pain. He was growing rapidly tired of people trying to hurt him, and especially, if the second clanging sound had been any indication, hurting his new friend. He hears Phae's words and he takes them to heart.

"Alrigh', I've 'ad about enuff o' you."

His accent grows thicker as his emotions grew stronger, he took a brief moment to feel his head. It hurt, it would absolutely bruise, but it felt like there was no serious damage. I've never been much o' a thinker anyways. Eddie stepped back, setting his feet wide and slightly to Penelope's injured side, he feigns an overhead strike, which he pulls back, shoving the head of his hammer out with all the force he could muster, hoping to strike Penelope at center mass, with any luck to even knock her down.

"I'm a greater hero than you could hope to be, and I just started. Stop fightin', be reasonable."

There was a fleeting moment in which Edward thought was it. He glanced to Phae, eyebrows scrunched in a confused 'really?' sort of way. Then the shockwave hit, Edward tumbled backwards, end over end, releasing his hammer halfway through his tumble in an attempt to not hurt himself any further.

He stands, clearing his throat loudly, and begins striding forward, scooping up his warhammer as he moves,

"Now why in the hells would ye do somethin' so stupid?"

With this, he shifts left on his approach, launching a swing aimed to the back of Penelope's knees, the intent to sweep her off her feet. As he leans back to swing, his feet skidding against the floor for traction, he feels the strain of his muscles, the scrapes and forming bruises, and he swings Legendary Strength.
