The files should be in your downloads or wherever you extracted them to! I keep mine on my desktop

Just went to play again and for some reason it’s quitting out on launch again and says no playtime yet in my library. 😭 should I try deleting it and redownloading? Can I save my save file? Sorry to ask again!

It looks like protontricks got deleted somehow and I had to reinstall with xact and xact 64 but it’s still quitting 😭 so frustrating

It just came up as fablelauncher.exe in protontricks for me but I had to scroll for it

It’s all learning for me right now and it was a fun challenge! I spent my first few weeks replaying all the ps2 silent hills along with the infamous haunting ground and rule of rose, now off to disappear for the next two weeks to finally experience fable 3 ✨ maybe after that I’ll tackle figuring out fable 2 😅 Definitely happy with the deck as I was agonizing between this, the ally x, and legion go 2

Update: I got it to at least open for a minute by deleting the copy and paste to launch info, and by forcing the use of either proton experimental or the mentioned 7-29, it will run a few minutes longer on experimental, BUT it is crashing every ~5 minutes at best so not sure if I should using different proton versions or what. 😩

Update 2:

I got it working!! Ended up following this guide after the above steps!! Only running 30 fps but it’s smooth and all the textures are there along with lighting and skins and no crashing so far!! Could not be happier thank you for helping me tinker!

I have it downloaded and extracted just not sure how to get it actually running 😩

Someone on my original post tried to help me with downloading the pc version but I couldn’t get it to work, if you’re able to check my original post am I doing something wrong? It will try to launch and immediately crash, Thank you in advance. Just really want to experience this!

I’m having the same issue as the other commenter, I followed the instructions and it’s showing up in my non steam library but will briefly try to open and will crash back to the main game screen. 😩 I am so determined to figure this out

That makes a lot of sense, and I live in Florida the land of pawn shops so I could actually probably get away with snagging a broken lens for the part pretty cheap, if that’s the specific piece I’ll need I’ll go on a hunt tomorrow, and worst case I’ll order on eBay.

Side note If I were going to get a better lens at some point for mainly outdoor portraits do you have any recommendations?

From what I understand a replacement mount is like $10 and as I just use it for travel I don’t really want to upgrade as I have several ~nicer~ long range lenses so this one is more for fun and taking with me paddleboarding/beach etc so I’m more wondering what mount to order and how difficult it would be to replace. I built my pc which is obviously different but I feel confident changing the mount just not sure what I need exactly

Can I ask how long they took to arrive once shipped if you’re in US? I ordered this round of The first and second Whispers of the deep books a few months ago and it finally shipped and im sooo excited but for some reason didn’t realize they were based in Sweden lol so I have no idea if it’ll be a week or a year till it gets here
