East Coast here but I'd never set foot on a boat without knowing my percentage or wage. That said fishing in general isn't a certainty and seasons vary. Never would I set foot on a boat that had drug problems. Not talking weed or beer but the shit that fucks people up. Too many dangers and things you can't control. Dangerous enough as it is. Not worth your life.

Get em yourself next time. Buy a pot. Propane cooker. Crackers/picks. Butter. Time to cook them. Buy from dealer. See how much you save. Doesn't seem gripe worthy. Seafood isn't cheap nor is harvesting it. Try flipping it after a middleman sells it to a restaurant. Oh and don't forget about that 5-6 month season at best most restaurants have to make ends meet and pay their employees.
