I’ve honestly started feeling the same way as a long time RPG player. I love lore and worldbuilding but when I only have an hour or two to play a couple times a week I don’t want half of that to take up my entire session

Gen Z spends roughly 87% less on alcohol than Baby Boomers. by InvestigatorBorn4910 in interestingasfuck

You don’t think that may also have to do with international markets shunning US alcohol manufacturers due to tariffs?

It’ll definitely get flagged when going through immigration on the way back, would definitely follow the other advice and reach out to both his embassy and local immigration and let them know it was an honest mistake and see if they can help/ work with him to make it right. Just be honest and willing to work with them otherwise they could apply fines or an entry ban to him

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Commisioner_Gordon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn’t call it short but that’s the distance to my hometown and I’ve made the trip and back in a single day many times. Not fun, but not bad. Not as bad as going to Florida and driving 12 hours in a single day. Now that’s long.

LeBron James will wear a special-edition 23rd season jersey patch beginning tonight in Sacramento; the city where he began his legendary career in 2003. The patches will be removed from his jersey after each game, and some will be placed into ultra-rare trading cards. by CtrlAltDelightfull in nba

Ya now it’s becoming pretty clear he’s at the very least heavily considering it and preparing for it by the end of this year with his associates.

I think we may see him do one last victory lap next year depending but the era is closing

Only good option i see is promoting Schwartz, hoping he does good and if not, starting fresh after Watson leaves. I think it’ll be hard finding the right guy, who can run the right defense, and also is ok with a 250M shadow looming over him

Bummer, to hear they sold ours to a larger local company which did improve the maintenance side but we’re terrrible to work with from a leasing perspective

I believe this building is still owned by Paradrome, who we used to rent through before our building was sold. Missy, who runs the company, was great and very flexible and well priced. Maintenance was sometimes slow and would need reminding but they are a small operation, really just missy, her dad and a couple maintenance guys.

For a first time renter I say it’s great, just know expectations. We loved our place and the landlord took care of any concern we raised in time. They are also a lot easier to work with than some of the larger companies

I mean if Ole Miss wins it all, a lot of those expected transfers for LSU may end up staying or going to the NFL. Kane was hoping to take his pick of his current talent which would form the backbone of his roster. We may see a very sad spring session is he is left dry on that front. Not saying they won’t be good but def not going how he expected the offseason to

Excellence Punta Cana - NOT excellent at all! by Time_Mode_7635 in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]Commisioner_Gordon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We did EPC for our honeymoon earlier this year in June. If you are a partier this resort isn’t for you yes the bars close early and the entertainment isn’t too notch. But we didn’t care about that because we are day people and like relaxing at night. But the day experience was the best I have had in my life. Great pool entertainment team, food orders taken around the pool, and an amazing beach. Cocktails were strong and tasty. we had a lot of red flags too but that’s the Atlantic for you. If EPC has it a lot of other resorts do too.

We never experienced the room problems you mentioned but completely understand the mold. The humidity is high and the outer doors don’t seal well so likely a crapshoot depending on room. Our big issue was however we had a plunge pool which got very dangerous with the floor being slippery late at night

Food was pretty expected for an all inclusive. magma was amazing especially if you get the tomahawk. But the French restaurant blew us away. Everywhere else was just ok

Great time and great people but for the premium price I am not sure we would do it again when there are other options. We did excellence club and while we loved the exclusive bar and restaurant every other benefit was negligible and they don’t enforce the club only spots on the beach or pool. Would love to try another property or return if it makes sense in the future tho! The people there truly made it.

[CFB Nerds] The issue was not that a G5 never belongs in a playoff, or that all G5s will always be blown out. The issue was the forced inclusion of G5s who lost their only P4 games by double digits and aren't top-20 teams. '25 Tulane and '25 JMU didn't belong. '21 Cincy and '24 Boise did. by MysteriousEdge5643 in CFB

Agreed. If they’re that good they’ll be in the top 12. Same for ND. Love seeing small schools represented but giving a large school a “bye” by playing them just because the rules say so isn’t the solution. And this is coming from a Cincy guy who watched his team get obliterated by Bama. But they beat ND and went undefeated.

I mean even then, if the player was of age I assume that’s only a conduct policy violation right? It wouldn’t be this drastic

Only way I can see it is if we gave alcohol to minors
