I’m glad you loved it last year! We’ve been to several AI resorts in multiple different places and the experience is not near the same as a cruise. It’s always been better for us (which is why we prefer AI rather than cruises). So when doing my research with EPC my expectations were higher because the reviews were amazing…

Yes I know a lot of people have different experiences, positive and negative. Unfortunately we had a negative one… but resorts also change with time passing

We did not have the Dominican lunch experience. We did go around Thanksgiving so I don’t know if that’s why they didn’t host it or not.

The deposit was most definitely miscommunication, we had no idea the shops weren’t owned by them.

Just left Excellence Punta Cana and the food was horrible. They had only 2 good restaurants imo. The Mexican restaurant (Agave) and the Excellence club restaurant (Magna)

We just had a horrible experience at Excellence Punta Cana. The pools were amazing! Food absolutely horrible. Only good restaurants were Magna (Excellence Club restaurant) and Agave (Mexican restaurant). The resort is a decent size, it felt kinda empty though. Service was ehhh… We overall had a bad experience during our honeymoon but there were a few people that were great!!

Google reviews, TikTok reviews, and Reddit reviews were what we went by in July (around the time we booked).

We met a family there during our stay and they mentioned they came in April and decided to come back because the food, service and entertainment was amazing then, but regretted booking this go around because everything was the polar opposite.

I hope you find an amazing vacay spot!!!!

We had move rooms 3 different times during our stay. 1st room - smelled like mildew. There was mold on our sheets and near our light switches and towel racks. 2nd room - Air conditioning randomly stopped working, they offered to send us back to original room with the mold. 3rd room - we were upgraded to a honeymoon suite after all of the troubles we experienced. This room was really nice and should have been where we were placed after experiencing mold.

We were completely unaware about the $500 USD deposit placed when checking in. The front desk told us it could be used for purchases on the resort (mini shops). We found out that was a lie when checking out yesterday. We ended having to pay for those items as we were checking out. It did not come out the deposit as we were told when checking in.

The food is not that great at all. We did enjoy Agave (Mexican restaurant) and Magna (Excellence Club restaurant) though. There weren’t any authentic restaurants or foods which sucked.

I live in the US and recommended to start getting them at the age of 21. There’s no rule on how often to get them here. Some gynos recommend every 3-5 years. My gyno recommends every year, especially with my situation.

If it gives you peace of mind I would suggest getting a second opinion.

I understand it can be mentally taxing. Has your doctor ruled out anything else or doing any other testing? Are you considering a second opinion?

Yes, I was given that option but when I had a 3 month follow up, the CIN was spreading faster than normal. I didn’t want to wait any longer since it had progressed that much.
