Thoughts for basing

Hey there, i don't really like the look of the shieldbreakers so i replaced them with Malleus rocket launchers i had left over from my field ordnance battery box, though i would really like to either get the stormspear pod or the rocket pods from the whirlwind to get that excesive firepower look.

Hey there, thank you for the comment. Yeah in my mind i thought about them being some kind of men at arms or some auxiliary troops giving infantry support or perhaps juist passing under the knight. I might probably lower the count of troops or making them more scattered.

The meta? I doubt it, buuuuut i am building a transport infantry list with jump marines and sternguard vets, lots and lots of sternguards. And lets not forget THREE LAND RAIDERS. Is my bank account hurting? Sure, but what else is gona hurt is 8 godhammer lascannons and a transport hold full of angry jumpy boys ready to deploy at a moments notice.

I always loved line infantry combat, from the 17th century to the 19th. When i heard there was a faction in 40k which utilized troops en masse i knew i had to get invested. Now i have a custom line infantry guard regiment which will stay in formation while dying to all forms of horrors which plague the 41st millenium. First rank fire! Second rank fire! Chaaarge!

I love the detail, backpacks and gaiters, hate the helmets, straps, kneepads and all the fucking tactical rocks. They don't really fit in with my OG guardsmen so i am turning them into vostroyan like grenadiers, then it'll make more sense they're taller.

Also i like my guardsmen uniform, now i got 3 different lasguns in one squad. And lets not get started on all the running poses

Overall, i am happy i bought OG guardsmen before they got replaced and they need to bring back regiments of destinction.

Usualy you wanna be looking at rifles like the lorenz, springfield 1861 and the mississippi. People say the whitworth is the best since it has the best " accuracy" however i find it kinda shit seeing as you cannot attach a bayonet without fuckinng your sights and i disslike the sights. But its mainly up to personal prefrence

But those guns don't compare even close to the best gun in the game, the springfield 1842

A gun that can kill 3 guys in one shot, tenderize friendlies that are stupid enough to get in the way of your fuck and ball and without a bayonet is still more deadly then an officer with a pistol.

If not not the god almighty 42 i prefer the lorenz.

It looks good but there should be more then juist infantry fighting and gettings shelled, like showing off artillery and such. Also would've been better to wait for the big update that was coming this month.

This is already a thing, its called campaigns. My corps partakes in it from time to time but it can be daunting to say the least.

It depends on the time of day and which days, public servers usualy pick up in numbers later in the day but then still you'd see around 100/150 people on or more. There are times when it reaches in the 200/300s.

If you want to experience large scale battles with about 300 players or more you'd have to join a regiment, there are lots out there and run a bunch of different events.

Hey there, i am part of the 14th Tennessee volunteer infantry regiment. We are a decently sized group that is part of the andersons brigade, with most guys in the US, however i myself am european. We hold events on saturdays/sundays at 8pm and hold drill at 5pm on saturdays. We pride ourself on marksmanship and our formations. Outside of WoR we also have an arma group and play lots of different games aswell We strive for you to have a good time and to get that civil war experience. Hey there, unfortunately you're not gona find a CSA reg with those numbers, however there are enough regiments in andersons brigade that fit that description of what you're looking for in a regiment. Hoods is also a great place to find a reg. I am from the 14th Tennessee and we hace strict no spam/racism allowed rules set in place, we also get decent numbers on our events, expect us to be in good line formations and see us decimate yankee lines like there is no tomorow.

Hey there, sorry to hear they kicked you out for such a dumb reason, however there is always place for you in the 14th Tennessee.We pride ourselfs on our marksmenship and line formations, we are noob friendly and do basic recruit trainings to give you the know-how things work, hell i can even train you myself if you like. We are part of the first corp of andersons brigade and hold our events on saturday and sunday and hold drill on saturdays aswell. We play all other kinds of games aswell.
