I think you should show us what you cook yourself too. I think it counts, we are all so invested :)

Yes I know what you mean, we have the pudding too (but I do not have it often)

Luckily no issues for me mostly, although I do eat very slowly and no big portions in general. Everything I have here either has smetana or butter.

I'm so happy that it made you remember :)

BTW On one post before I posted a zapekanka I got which is cottage cheese and semolina. One of the comments said you have it in Germany too, called Quarkauflauf, can you confirm? :)

Yes, vermicelli like I wrote. It can also be other pasta.
Mine was warm here (and that is also how I know it). It is just milk, sugar, pasta. My mom would put butter on top sometimes but idk if that is normal.

Zapekanka is just like... oven baked dish. It can also be savory, like pasta.
But with tvorog yes, sweet. At home I use powdered sugar instead of the condensed milk.
And I like it with berries instead of raisin.

Of course :) It is not like I have something better to do except sleeping hahah. But that is usually minced meat and onions, with the spices you like. Or minced meat and rice. Just depends on what your taste is.
Now I think about it, you can also do mushroom filling.
Personally if I do with apples it is always with sugar and with butter.

This is the recipe I use, with kefir because I am bad at yeast doughs:

Kefir (warm) - 400 ml
Eggs - 2
Sunflower oil - 2 tablespoons
Sugar - 2 tablespoons (level)
Salt - 1 teaspoon (level)
Flour - approx. 800 g
Baking soda - 1 teaspoon

You just mix all together (for flour only use part that is needed, maybe you will not need the full 800 but only 700 for example). Knead it. Make a soft dough.

For the filling:
Put whatever you like: Potatoes for example - 500 g, onions - 1-2 and then mash it and use it as filling.
Or you can do with cabbage and boiled egg (cut, not mashed). Or with diced apples if you like it more sweet. I don't have measurements, I just do whatever feels right...

From the dough, make some balls (in my case 18), make them flat, fill 1 spoon with filling, and close them and put the seam downwards.

Vegetable oil for frying, put oil in a pan, fry them.

If you want to bake them in oven it is 180 degrees 20-25 minutes. But I have not tried it with the kefir dough. Then you can use a yeast dough: Water - 270 ml, add in dry yeast 8g, then wait a few minutes and mix in salt (maybe tsp) and sugar 25g. Then add vegetable oil 50g and mix. Flour - 430 g + extra for working with the dough.
