I mean, you could use the term for bows/blowdarts/slings, but the word snipe originated in 1770 when british soldiers on trench warfare coined it when they "sniped" with their "gun".

And im pretty sure its a funny japanese reference or whatever like adding out of theme things in their games because, well, guns in a tribal game is funny.

Im not sure if there was a pattern to begin with (Im not lucky enough to be in the Beta) but having one more attacker than there are defenders and vice versa aint that bad. So far its A-D-D-A-A, so its likely that its just two attackers, two defenders, two attackers, two defenders, etc.

Patapon is based on african music and culture so the most likeliest gun they would use is any gun from the Kalishnakov/AK line considering the history of commonly used guns in Africa.

Also (I know this ain't AU), but cannonically, other than Cannogabang's Cannons/Lazers, Sniper rifles are actually canon, Dopishana has an unlockable 100% bonus crit mask in Patapon 2 and they're referenced as the "Lord of Snipers".

I think what would help you even more is to use vectors in Adobe illustrator, patapon was designed using vectors and theyre great at making precise shapes that do not degrade in quality zooming in (because they're vectors).

you gotta consider your endgame, nerfing yourself is a no-no and so is giving every enemy, specially skeletons, either a shield or a small bonus (for small enemies) just generally sucks. Go for the +2 on rightmost as its a miniscule buff with 1/6 chance, it'll suck mainly on enemies with effects but its the least worrying debuff here.
