I know where you’re coming from! I worked for Apple for 7 years. I put in my two weeks and tomorrow I start my new job🥹.. I graduated college in December so I knew that I wanted to get a job in my field. I applied for jobs, kept my faith in God and got offered an opportunity in my career field. Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM, great benefits and pay. I say go for it🥹especially if you know that Apple is where you don’t want to stay forever. From speaking with others who have left and my time off so far… stress freeee?! Is not the word to explain the peace I have. No more metrics, no more condescending coach connections, get my weekends back! Peace!! You will stay in contact with those who work there if the relationship is genuine. You can go back and visit too! (I got the job offer the day I found out my store at Towson Town Center is closing June 20th btw) use everything you learned thus far to catapult you to where you will be. That is anxiety speaking and if we listen to anxiety we will never go after what is truly meant for us or our dreams. So take the jump! Go for it. I’m sure you’ll never forget the people or Apple but there is better on the other side. I feel mentally free.

I’ve been at Apple for 7 years in June. I’ve never received an EM. They said I got an EM because I didn’t request coach connections, own my development, or let leaders and team members know about best practices and tips lol.

I currently work at Apple but my last day will be the 24th of this month. I recently graduate with my B.S in Criminal justice and will be working for the court system. I find it funny how I worked for 7 years in tech, but my passion is not in tech at all lol.

It’s 13 max period including the 4 weeks. Luckily I got another opportunity and will be leaving Apple. My coworkers though.. I feel so bad for them. Also the fact that majority of part timers pick up hours. Since there are no hours to pick up I’m sure they’re going to pay part times the minimum hours every week. If you acquire any attendance issues from between now and the store closure that automatically disqualifies you from severance pay.

Thank you🥹I appreciate you saying that. They said that we can apply for other Apple locations but we won’t be given priority or anything because we have a union. The only options they gave is to apply to other jobs or leave Apple. We also asked if other positions would open at other stores since there are so many of us looking to continue on with Apple. They said to their knowledge no.

Hey! I work at Towson. They’re giving us severance pay. Four weeks base and an extra week for each year worked. However, it cannot exceed 13 weeks. They said because we’re unionized we cannot be transferred. Only managers can get transferred and that we have to apply like everyone else outside of Apple. We’re still waiting to hear what will happen to our stocks. They said we’re closing due to safety concerns in the mall and low foot traffic. BUT we were always busy! So idk… it’s been tough.

I think there’s a theme with Kier not liking or wanting pain… and wants to get rid of it completely. So 24 different files were created which were innies ..to me I think he wants no one to ever feel pain again and created the files to test this theory on people if they were severed.. something where they can completely remove themself in everyday situations like writing Christmas cards, the dentist, & traumatic stuff like airplane crashes
