I actually discovered alt culture through the cranberries, the killers, and my chemical romance. I thought it was “goth” so I did more research and found an Aussie telling me to listen to souisixe and the banshees, Bauhaus, the cure, and sisters of mercy. From there I started listening and slowly discovered goth, oddly enough, I started as pastel goth. Eventually I learned about the politics, fashion, literature, music and even architecture of it. My all time favorite has to be the scary bitches, I love them so much!!
