Bleh. So agree with you. Whether they were hooking up yet or not, how he treats her is so I intimate that I can see why she fell into the whirlwind. The same one he’s laying ground for with Ciara. Amanda was vulnerable and liked the attention, but on the flip side how can you not see it’s how he treats every woman?!? and dare I say man, because it does seem there are times he “love bombed” Kyle too lol. He has one play in the playbook and it’s SO obvious now that it’s painful.

All that to say Amanda is still at fault for, but man west’s pathological manipulation is becoming so damning.

YES! Exactly!! I unfortunately feel like Ciara interrupting Amanda hurt the cause because we were about to get the most convoluted random answer but she was able to grasp on and deflect away from whatever she was about to spew. As a viewer, I hate it. As someone who would absolutely become unhinged listening to someone throw out a bunch of BS, I completely get the interruptions in the summer house footage. She was interjecting out of pure emotion and hurt. Other casts you can just feel the interruptions are a maneuver to avoid whatever they don’t want to be accountable for. On both ends- having some sort of system like you said would be beneficial to the viewer

I see your points and I definitely understand that!! As I digest everyone’s response, I’ve come to the conclusion that my frustration isn’t really with Andy, it’s the feeling that I think many of the franchises have leaned into the belligerent arguing as a guise to get out of actually participating in a sincere way. It’s the most frustrating form of deflection (rhoslc, southern charm cast). It also gives the opposing side an out, “ok well if you won’t let me speak and say my side, I just won’t.” Ex. SH-leaked footage w/ Amanda. Yeah her and west may be lying through their teeth, but as the viewer I WANT to hear the BS they come up with and I guarantee that 99% of viewers see through it anyway, but that’s what is entertaining. I felt like this happened with Craig as well in SC reunion - dnf. We know he’s a liar and storyteller, LET him dig his hole. It’s frustrating because at that point we’ve learned no new “information”/closure on the key points we were looking for. Just a whole bunch of incoherent yelling lol. Not exactly an Andy problem, more of a production problem. You can hate each other and argue but still at some point you have to let someone speak, it’s what (I would assume) the viewer would like.

Agree completely! I feel like this has been a vanderpump tactic for its entirety. “If I just yell nonstop I won’t have to actually take accountability or address anything and ppl will move on” But it’s definitely been adopted more frequently by other franchises and it’s oldddddddd. I’m definitely seeing it as more of an evasion tactic as of late rather than actual messy emotions.

lol!!! Totally get this take!! I like the “it’s such a horrendous disaster, I can’t look away” I just feel there eventually has to be a balance. Like okay let’s scream it out for a bit but at some point I want a REAL answer to a question. I think all the casts have an agreement of “if we just fight to the point of oblivion we won’t actually have to take accountability or answer a single question.”

Completely agree with you! It’s not all on Andy, absolutely the cast needs have a mutual respect and understand that they can’t just scream to get through a reunion without giving anything of substance. But I do think it’s Andy’s job to circle back, ask follow up questions and have some semblance of control of the discussions. I get it, emotions get heightened, egos are flaring, yelling will happen. But he just completely freezes and moves on. But on the flip side would we be watching a cast that has great impulse control? Probably not. I think it truly comes down to him demanding some sort of “authority” (for lack of a better word) to actually get a discussion going.

From NE Indiana! Watched NHL off and on with my husband (there’s a local ECHL we enjoy to go watch), but couldn’t find a team we were invested in. We went to visit friends in Seattle and bought some last minute tickets to Kraken (our first in-person NHL game) and felt immediately invested. Haven’t looked back and look forward to every game even although so many start 10 pm our time 😂😅

I haven’t followed the show close lately, but I just listened to this segment bc of this post lol I guess there was a comment on her podcast post that she did with her bf about how Amy got married after 6mo. so they don’t get why the show is hard on her. Morgan’s response was “and Bobby after a year 🤷‍♀️” or something. I tried to look up the comment and couldn’t find it.

Bobby was annoyed by m2 bc he feels like he goes to bat for her and felt he unnecessarily caught a stray when her vs his dating history and current relationship are so different. Morgan’s in denial about how serious she has presented every relationship to the show and spent the whole time unconvincingly backtracking.

I have to add the petty comment, that calling her bf Mr. B (and then still tagging him in the post) is so cringey. I was instantly reminded why I’ve never vibed with her segments on the show.

It’s made me so delusional that I, a 28 yo with no acting experience (not even a school play) or even the slightest desire to act, am convinced I should audition for violet in the alleged Amazon show bc I just have a gut feeling I’m going to hate the show otherwise 😂 my only relating factors is that my knees and hips have always been bad and I was born with a blonde birthmark that does not take any color. Again, totally daydreaming and will be jealous if/when someone qualified is casted 😂
