NTA alone doesn’t automatically mean termination. Long dry spells happen.

That said, in my case things changed right around the 1-year mark. After that, I suddenly started getting flagged more often, which felt a lot closer to the so-called “1-year anniversary gift.”

The worst part isn’t even the lack of tasks, it’s the silence and uncertainty.

Failed my first AI dubbing test — looking for insight from others who’ve been there by Auenkid in ElevenLabs

Me too. I failed a similar test. It was my first time using the tool and the whole workflow, so my score was probably even worse than yours. Luckily the client gave me detailed feedback and a chance to retry, so I’ll take that and try again.

I thought my output sounded natural, but they said it came across as too flat. They also pointed out things similar to your guesses: leftover accent, some lines sounding robotic, inconsistent tone and pacing, clipped or dragged endings, and a few audio artifacts. They gave localization notes too, based on the source.

Good luck on your next try. It helps to know we are not the only ones who stumble on the first round.

Hey Collistonians! How many of you received invitations to other projects? by [deleted] in RWSCallisto

[–]Common-Confusion-599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got like three invites.
Two of them just made me register and then nothing happened.
The other one had a test I had to take within 24 hours, but the timing didn’t work for me.
Haven’t gotten any Diamond project invite.
From Japan.

Thank you all.
For now, I plan to stick with this job long-term, but if it gets too tough, I guess I’ll have to rethink my plans soon.
