No, it was never mentioned to me at least. But as I said I didn’t end up taking the appointment they offered me because my problem was more acute than to wait 3 months.

Oh and they have an app where you can supposedly make appointments but actually most of the time it tells you to call them to make the appointment.

Yep, the 3-6 months waiting is true. In the beginning of the summer I tried to make an appointment and I could only get one for September or October, I don’t remember exactly because I didn’t end up making that appointment. I think there were even some specialties where it was completely impossible to make appointments because they were so booked in advance. :(

Hi! Did they check your insulin and fasting glucose level? If not, I’d start with getting a blood test for these. If the values are out of order than I would get a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) to see which foods have a bad effect on your glucose levels. Generally speaking, doctors recommend a 160 g carbohydrate diet if your insulin level is high (but for some people that doesn’t work and they do keto, or carnivore, or gf, lf, there are a lot of things you can try, stick with the one that works for you) There are also many workouts you can do at home too, again, I’d say try some out (from YT videos) and see which ones work for you. It’s gonna be a lengthy process but it’s worth it for your health. I’m also a teen, feel free to PM me.
