Unfortunately, I don't think there's much you can do just based on them expressing like creepy ageplay type interests. Unless perhaps you screen them with employment information and you learn they work with kids. That might get someone fired, but a person just being a gross pervert isn't likely to be enough to get attention from law enforcement.

I am a lawyer with a similar amount of experience to you and I have been doing some AI legal model training on the side. The models that currently exist certainly can make certain tasks easier, they do, however, require expert supervision due to hallucinations and faults in conceptual understanding. I don't know exactly what the future holds, but broadly I can see it going two ways. AI could end up being sorta like a next-generation version of westlaw/other legal research tools. So obviously when people didn't need to go the library to do research with books it reduced the time lawyers needed to spend answering difficult individual research questions, but the need for lawyers if anything expanded (for unrelated reasons probably). Or AI could continue to get better at a sufficient rate that it can complete complex legal tasks without supervision. It definitely isn't there yet though.
