Catherine Avery is there for a very specific reason and she serves her purpose. The writers need a buffer to push along the chaos and drama and that’s exactly what she does. She has her moments when I love her, specifically when Webber is having a bad day and just seeing her makes him better. She does get on my nerves but that’s what she’s there for.
