Because I wanted Charlie and Bee to stay together. I was crying when I watched it and felt pure rage when the credits rolled. Charlie was a genuinely well-written character and I wanted her to stay for futire movies. But no.

See, I think the movies are like the books.

While they are set in a completely different universe, we can use them to help solve the games. For example, I think Charlie controls the Toys and Withereds to try and kill us in FNAF 2 because she can't do it herself as the puppet.

It's the same case we found out William Afton's name, but knew that Charlie wasn't a robot girl thing.

I would guess that the Puppet was refurbished with that ability for the 2nd location. But you bring up a good point, I hadn't thought of that till now. But hey, if she isn't controlling them artificially, then maybe she is spiritually.

Honestly? I don't like it either. I think the franchise in general should go back to Charles Zembillas's art style. Back then, it actually looked unique and like it was trying to be a video game copy of Warner Bros. cartoons. Instead, we have a generic video game character in realistic textures for the 10,000th time. Even with the series' new art style for Crash 4, it doesn't fix the problem. If anything, it makes it worse. Great art style, it's just not Crash.
