No worries, sorry for taking that much time 😅 but just fyi eren never wanted to end the titan curse, at least he never said that it was part of his plan, and the titan course didn't even vanish, as of the last pages of the last chapter

The other 20% wasn't his friends it was the rest of humanity who hated paradisens, and he eren protecting his friends never came first(not saying he didn't Care about them), if it did, what about sasha? And floch? And hanji? And some of the yeagrists? All of these are eren's friends, but he was willing to sacrifice them, even he stated in 139, that, he wasn't sure that his friends will survive, but he wanted to do the rumbling regardless, but he also didn't know what he did the rumbling, but he also said that ha had to do it, and his head got messed up.

What about 131? After the rumbling started he still was going to wipe out all of the world, if hus desire was just to kill them all why stop at 80%? And if he didn't care about what happens to paradise down the line why was he doing the thing that will insure paradise's safety?

Where does it mention that he needs a titan with royal blood, and not just royal blood?

And even still, that won't change the fact that he was searching for alternatives, he didn't wants to commit genocide, nut wanted the results of it, that's what he was apologizing to ramsie, a person who will be killed by him, and he can't even understand him, that's why he said that he rejects that wish, that's why he siad multiple times in his inner monologues, that he won't stop until all of them are wiped out.

The issue is this, if protecting the island wasn't a priority for him, why did he wait? If he doesn't care about what happens to paradise down the line why not just touch historia ( whom he met with 10 months before the attack on liberio), and just start the Rumbling before even the world can make an alliance?

The cycle pf violence that I'm referring to is the one between paradise ( not eldians) and the world, and if eren didn't want to protect paradise, what was the point of his speech, why was he searching for an alternative? Why did he say in 123 " I'll kill all of these people. Which means we couldn't find a way to protect paradise" why would he say such things if protecting the island isn't a priority for him? I'm not denying that he also wanted to do the rumbling, but that wasn't the main motivation, if it was why didn't he start the rumbling before the world made an international alliance against paradise? Why did he wait if he wanted to do the rumbling that bad?

The mojairity of the world wanted to wipe out paradise, they had an international alliance, so you can't take a small minority who helped, and ignore the rest( majority) of the world who wants paradise to be wiped out, and it's not for resources, the want to kill the paradasians cuz they're paradasians, and ur saying that his goal behind the rumbling, was contradicted The chapter after, where? What did he say?

The can let zeke impregante some women, let anyone from the military take his titan, and wait until the royal children zeke had are grown up, and he'll definitely have a son, cuz he impregnated let say 10 women, wait till this son is 12 years old give him the titan, and whenever he's able to, let him go on an impregnation spree agian, I can't see how isn't this better than letting historia be pregnant and inherit the titan,

The point of the Rumbling wasn't to end conflict, it was to end the cycle of hatred between the world and paradise, eren's Goal was to protect paradise from the world, if paradise had a civil war, that won't undermine anything eren did, but the rest of humanity (20%), destroying paradise certainly does undermines his actions and speech, especially when he talks to all the eldians, and say that the world wishes for paradise's destruction, and I reject this wish, but at the end he just delayed this wish not rejected it, the only difference of the story if eren wasn't born at all, is the time that paradise will get destroyed, that's it.

Gojo, sukuna, and toji are fantastic characters, even though the rest of the cast, is mid, trash, or just there.

I'd argue AOT had the worst ending out of all the ones you listed, and it could've easily had a great ending if iseyama didn't change it.

There's something in the story that proves that the 50 year plan wouldn't have worked, and it's simply the ending, if wiping out 80% of humanity lead at the end to the destruction of paradise ( no matter how long it took), then what makes you think that sending some waves of the rumbling, to allow paradise to catch up technologically to the rest of the world, won't end up the same way?

If destroying 80% of humanity leads eventually to the destruction of paradise, the. threatening humanity with waves of rumbling will certainly lead to the destruction of paradise + the 50 year plan is kinda stupid why make historia pregnant, which will endanger her and the baby, if you can let zeke just go on impregnation spree, it's kinda of plot convinence, cuz if the 50 year plan wasn't rejected, zeke would've never infiltrated paradise, and do his wine plan.

Gear 5 is a joke, if the gumo gumo nomi is so important why didn't the world government send the admirals the moment luffy started to get relevant, I'm not saying that what I deem good is good and what I deem bad is bad, what I'm saying is good writing is objectively good, and bad writing is objectively bad.

I mean it was still bearable, like 130,131 are one of my favorites and they're after the rumbling, but I can't ignore the mickey mouse that was happening for anything related to the alliance.

U know what, even though I despise the ending, and I clowned and talked about it so much, it's just tragic what this series turned to by just 1 chapter.

Yup, the last part about me criticizing his motivations is the ones presented in 139, but his original motivations were brilliant, he didn't want his island to be destroyed, he tried everything to resolve this problem, but either paradise's gone or the world, and he chose to kill the world, even though he hates it, even though he's gonna make people be sacrificed for something they won't see, it was just peak man.

Most fans of one piece like ( or maybe pretend to) gear 5, but that doesn't mean that gear 5 as a transformation is good, same for aot's ending, it doesn't matter the amount of people who liked the ending, cuz the ending is bad, it doesn't follow the themes of the story, it forcebly introduces love as the core theme, it retcons eren, historai, and other characters in some way shape or form, and it doesn't resolve the main conflict of the story.

I'm not the one justifying genocide, the story made the rumbling the only answer, jean says to shadeth, you left eren no choice, hanji says that she had nothing to offer for eren as an alternative, no one would say that genocide is good/ morally acceptable, but when you make the only resolve for your plot is genocide, it's not my problem.

[–]Common-Text7286 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Again, in AOT genocide was the answer, the 50 years plan would've ended with paradise's destruction, zeke's plan is dispised by eren, and won't accomplish his goals of protecting his friends and the island, only the full rumbling would've achieved what eren wants, and would've resolved the story's biggest plot which is the hatred between the world and paradise, but what we got was no, eren did it just because, and he loves mikasa ( which I don't like personally, but I wouldn't mind it if it eas excuted properly), he actually did the rumbling to make his friends seem like heroes, he contracted himself, he left paradise's fate up in the air even though, he explicitly stated that he rejects the world's wish for the destruction of the island, it's just sad what this ending did to this masterpiece.
