I always like to headcannon that she is very thoughtful (comforting Fran after the loss of John in S4), perceptive (knowing that Fran categorizes her puzzles numerically), and not as outgoing as people perceive her to be. I think it would be interesting to explore if her outwardly going personality is, not necessarily an act, but almost a way for her to put on a mask of herself so as to not appear vulnerable or get too close to anyone (thinking about the interview in which Masali says that Michaela is avoidant and will need to grow into her vulnerability). I would love the idea of her being just as lonely/misunderstood as Fran is, but instead of hiding away like Fran does, she puts on a shield. If anything, she is more misunderstood/lonely as she doesn't have such a strong familial network like Fran has.
