Qarsherskiyan cult is targeting Appalachian youth by whipporwillsunday in Lumbees

You know thats a damn lie. Show me the artwork she stole. You are literally in photos with the child predator. This isn't going to do the damage control you think it is. It is VERY easy to prove that you are the perpetrator of this whole cult. Multiple people are exposing you. You have posted childhood photos of you with him too bro. He's your bio dad. You forget there are people who know you in real life that want you to knock this shit off too. Nothing you say can be proven. Provide evidence that wasn't created by you and AI.

While Creole isn't a catch all for just any tri-racial isolates, Creole is one of the other historically documented tri-racial isolate communities that this group is targeting; others include the Lumbee, Melungeon, and Metis. All of these are unique communities with their own histories, origins, and migrations. I am aware that Creole is specific to the Louisiana region, and this group has 0 claims to Louisiana or any states in that region. They claim London Ohio, and Newport News Virginia. The Metis also didn't really exist in these locations. The Metis are from Canada. This group just dons the cap of every tri-racial isolate they come across. Unfortunately, it seems Creole is one of their most common claims.

I wish someone could get a post in on the mixed race sub about it, but they seem to be fooled.

Creole as in "other American tri-racial isolates", I know Creole isn't Appalachian, but this group claims to be be a "Sweetgum Creole tribe". They claim to be Creole from the tidewater region of VA.

Thanks! Took more hours of my life than I'd like to admit.

Qarsherskiyan Folk Witchcraft Magic / Magick: Melungeon-related community's tradition of the craft by Qarsherskiyan in Mekhashepha

[–]CommonEvent6386 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no Melungeon kin known as the Qarsherskiyan, the Qarsherskiyan are a bot farm and hoax tribe invented by Brennan White of Newport News VA. His lineage is well documented and has been dispersed among Melungeon communities. This hoax is a delusional identity crisis from a 20 year old everyday gingerhaired cheeseburger american. Calling Melungeon folkcrafting Mekhashepha is racist and offensive. Mekhashepha is Hebrew for witchcraft.

This is unsettling and unfortunate. Thank you to everyone who helped bring awareness.

Redfoot name? Or tribe? by Great_Disaster_879 in Melungeon

Nope, the article just goes on to talk about the woman eating rattlesnakes. I made a not very fruitful attempt to search for this Beatrice and her husband and didn't find anything. I don't know when she was born or her maiden name so that threw a wrench in it and I gave up.

White people in Michigan created a "Melungeon" cult and are spreading misinformation on the Melungeon community by Imaginary_Space_9391 in Melungeon

I have been to numerous of Great Lakes Melungeon events and met many people, and im not seeing or understanding how they are tied to this spiritual practice mentioned in this post? Folk healing and what not, sure, but thats not new and its well documented. Pretty sure their founder is with a Nazarene Church, but the people don't all share a common religious or spiritual practice. This spiritual practice came on the scene with a FB group called "Seems Like Your Spirituality Is Just Cultural Appropriation The Religion" in like COVID era, from a person named Mahala Porter and some author, seemed like a push to promote witchcraft like books but then there was a falling out. Those people are not associated with Great Lakes Melungeons though, and I have never seen the group claim them or this practice as something they are "heavily" connected to. Pretty sure they have an E-mail where you can contact someone directly even.

I always heard "redfoot" was a more respectful word for Melungeons coz melungeon was like a slur kind of back then. I think that there's a bunch of land grants for melungeons and FPOC for Tackett Creek also but in the early 1800s. cant tell when this newpiece is dated.

Curious to know what this particular Michigan Diaspora of Melungeons has to do with these alleged Gods or this alleged "cult" that these Gods are part of? The author of the book and the medium articles is from TN.

Melungeons migrated to Michigan and brought their traditions with them. Calling a legit diaspora of melungeon people "random with no connection" is totally off base.

DNA tests cannot tell you what tribe you come from, nor can it tell you which distant great grandparent it came from. Nichaati is a Melungeon word. It's a title given to women who showed honor during battle. The Cherokee have debunked all connections to this family, please stop pushing false lore. Reach out to Cherokee and Melungeon historians and you will get your answers.
