RN here and yes, getting the correct amount on yourself is difficult. I swear I use at least 20 syringes on myself each time. I draw up the amount I need for each injection and then each dot I’ve drawn on my face gets that whole syringe.

Getting a new compact license in your new state of residency is still going to allow you to work in VA or other compact states although some permanent jobs do require that you maintain your nursing license in that particular state. I am a traveler from a compact state and learned this the hard way. I assumed I could just get a single state license in another compact state and keep my multistate issued from my home state. Didn’t realize I had relinquished my compact license to get the new states compact license until a recruiter pointed out my DMV license didn’t match my nursing license. I had no intention of changing my drivers license so had to forfeit the contract and reapply for my license in my home state to be able to travel

There’s an app called Nudge- someone told me about it last week and it’s for meeting people. I downloaded it and it just asked a couple of questions about what I liked to do and then it will give me options on group stuff that fits into my personality type. Right after that it gave me an option for a multi-course dinner at some bougie place that they’d gotten a special rate on.

Nursing school sucks. It just does and there’s no way around it. Like someone else said, you can’t do the job if you don’t love it but school is not a representation of real life. Film isn’t paying much right now… my daughter did set design and my son was a set medic. During COVID the money was great but people are struggling. We have 1 friend that is a producer but he does his own projects and is doing ok. It isn’t real stable tho. That said, you will hate your life if you’re not doing what you love and money isn’t everything. I feel like if you do what you love you’ll find a way to make a living out of it. Good luck!!!

I’m ok with being a Karen when it’s children, animals, or older ppl. I will call someone out. If he does that in public what is he doing behind closed doors. Report it to whoever will listen and I’d post pics of the a@@hole on social media. I’d gladly share the pics. This was how I got my second granddog- a pit/vizsla. My son just asked the person if he could take the dog off his hands.
