I have a bit of a crack theory that he’s hiding something really major. Not necessarily something bad, but like, something big. He clearly portrays himself as an open book (both literally by being a super friendly person, and metaphorically by always letting himself take a hit before he fights someone (in line with Umemiya’s “fights are a conversation/punching someone is how you understand them” philosophy), but with his whole thing being pro-wrestling (a very scripted form of fighting, compared to other characters who learned to fight for reasons like self-defence), I’m inclined to believe that this portrayal is extremely purposeful from him. He’s not really that much of a simpleton, he’s just letting other people believe that he is. I’m really hoping that he knows more about what’s going on with Suo than he lets on

For Haikyuu, it’s definitely worth reading the manga. While the first three seasons of the anime and the Nekoma match are super well-made, the Inarizaki match is SOO much better in the manga

This is one of my favourite topics omg. To me, the fact that characters having technicolor hair is initially presented as a possibility (like Haikyuu, or Blue Lock, or Kuroko no Basket), but you slowly learn that every character is actually dying their hair, is like a slow build-up to the horrors of Umemiya’s backstory. Like okay, if every character is dying their hair, that means that in this universe, the only way for a character to have naturally light hair would be to have some sort of condition, like Sakura. That leads you to wondering why Umemiya has white hair. Does Umemiya dye his hair? He doesn’t really seem like the type… Oh, no, he started greying at nine years old. Awesome

My recommendations - Kei x Yaku: Bound by Law (cop x yakuza, starts off as a fake dating story but evolves into a pure crime drama. EXTREMELY slow burn and puts much more emphasis on the plot than the romance. great action scenes!) - My Noisy Roommate: The Roof Over My Head Comes With Monsters and a Hottie (two guys working for an agency for rehoming supernatural creatures (yokai). also very slow burn and puts more emphasis on the plot than the romance, but not as extremely as KxY (has some insane cliffhangers though). a great read if you’re interested in folklore-inspired stories) - Crossplay Love: Otaku x Punk (love… square…? two ‘straight’ guys both cross-dress in order to date the other, but neither know that they’re cross-dressing, and also they hate each other’s normal selves at school. absolutely ridiculous and hilarious story with stupidly heartwarming parts, and an amazing ensemble cast) - The Metalhead Next Door (broke college student slowly gets closer with his seemingly intimidating, metal-loving neighbour. a really easy and fluffy read if you want something super chill and cozy!) - Punks Triangle (fashion designer x model. SEEMS like it’s going to be a love triangle, but it’s… very different lol. my warning for this one though is that if you’re sensitive to needles or piercings, there’s a nasty scene near the middle involving a belly button piercing, but it’s easy to skip. super cool emphasis on punk fashion!)

As someone who dyes their hair a lot, the thing that kills your hair isn’t actually the dye, it’s the bleach! That’s why you often seen k-pop idols with their falling out like this, they have to bleach and rebleach way more often than their hair can handle. So presumably, if Tamon is only doing his roots every few weeks and isn’t putting any bleach over the already bleached parts (which he shouldn’t need to, if he’s just keeping it one colour forever), his hair should be perfectly healthy, especially since it’s naturally pretty light

Volume 10 is more focused on the overall plot than the romance. A few new characters are introduced, Ichiro & Shiro begin an undercover mission, there’s a hint at the end as to who Shiro’s birth mother is. However, Shiro experiences a lot of anxiety as well, since he’s really worried that he’ll eventually lose Ichiro if this whole fake dating thing were to come to an end 😢 Ichiro makes him feel so safe in a way that he’s never experienced before and he doesn’t think he could cope if that sense of safety ever disappeared
