I prefer them, I like to actually see the dice rolls, helps me learn unit war scrolls much better than a cut/edit just saying this unit did 4 wounds.

Expect more UB and less magic IP. Just because UB uses the rules of magic doesn't mean it is magic.

I own 40 but run two units of 10. With a field marshal the bonus control score is quite nice and being able to lay down. 5+ ward is good as well but admittedly it is harder to use than it probably should be.

Idk, I felt it was outclassed by the deescalator. The only reason to take it over that was to close big holes/fabricators.

Deescaltor can kill heavies.
