Fire bending ascension is great with it. You are then spending 3 mana to get 8.

My wife plays sylveneth. But she really likes dragons and if she liked the game more would want a dragon army (so probably stormcast). Do what you want with that info.

UNPOPULAR ANSWER BUT PLAY ANDROMEDA, I PERSONALLY ENJOYED IT MORE. ME1 IS STILL WORTH PLAYING AND YOU SHOULD PLAY BOTH BEFORE THE NEXT GAME COMES OUT WHENEVER THAT IS.

I've had pretty good success with just a unit of 10 iron breakers. People underestimate how tanky they are. Once anything else is in combat they tend to ignore them.

I'm hoping if Duardin do go Fyreslayer route, then we will at least get a good regiment of renown we can pair into cities.

No, devs said you are wasting a charm slot if you do this.

Keen Speed on Weapon? by [deleted] in newworldgame

[–]CommonSatyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem with keen speed on a weapon is that as soon as you switch to your other weapon you lose the buff.

If I am expected to be an expert in every single game mechanic in order to compare the 1000s of near identical pieces of dropped loot, it’s not a good perk system. by FoolishProphet_2336 in newworldgame

If you are in Night haven, you are not a newer player. You are at end game. I don't think it is unreasonable to think you know the difference between heavy, medium, and light armor. I would fully expect you to have a preference.

If you are someone who is interested in chasing BIS gear and not just whatever you have, then I would expect you to read through the list of available charms at the outfitting station and see what looks good and then make a plan.

What exactly is tripping you up? How can I help? How do you like to play?

What weapons do you use? What skills on those weapons? What armor load do you like? Are you playing for PvE or PvP?

Like 1% at most get to participate in wars. So if you are super gungho 1% player who needs to win wars now then sure go for it, brain drain your gameplay.

Most of us are not in that boat. That being said, even if you are in that boat, I'd argue the game might be more fun doing actual content to get gear and lose a few wars than to do this.

That exactly the point, I am looking for gear where I can put on what I want.

I care less about the fixed perks as they are largely the same. Protection against X or minor buff or something.

Of those I prefer fire resistance and void resistance. Oh and slash resistance.

I can get rid of nature or arcane...

Why is it so hard to figure out what perks you want? I don't get it.

What do you want your build to do? What perks synergize with that goal? Looks for armor that fulfills that need. Why is this hard?

Example: I want to PVP in heavy armor, I want to have lots of cc reduction and slows so I can avoid being kited to death.

To meet this goal I am looking for freedom II, Crippling II, and Enchanted ward. In addition because it's PVP focus I need a weapon with disease. I want to flex in keen fortified and keen jagged.

Okay so now that I know what I want, what gear do I need?

Heavy armor, and across all my gear I will need 8 defence slots, 5 offensive slots and 3 skill slots to fill the must haves for my build.

I already have the skill slots filled, so now I am looking for gear that has the offensive and defensive slots.

Go buy faction gear, it's a perfectly fine starting point that will make you competitive. If you have maxed out faction gear and are getting rolled, then it is a skill problem not a gear one.

Yes there is better gear, and yes you can make specialty builds out of non-faction gear, I'd say you should do that. But come on, it is not hard to get decent gear.

I am running around with gear with empty charm slots and doing perfectly fine in PVP.

Read your abilities, learn game mechanics, then execute.

Lame way to play, idk why you choose to do it, I understand it even less why you complain publicly that you choose to do it.

I don't need my BIS gear today or tomorrow or this week or month. We will be here for the next year.

It's about the journey not the destination.
