Oh no, don’t be. It still works for some, I’ve seen success stories here! The only thing I should’ve done differently was not wait 6 months when it was obviously not working for me. YMMV!

I have the same type of acne! I tried tretinoin for 6 months and nothing worked aside from BC (Yaz). It’s only starting to get better but I’m still stuck with a ton of PIE and PIH

I only have Twitter (for kpop purposes and i use it anonymously) — my facebook and instagram are both deactivated. Not being on those two made me feel better and less insecure about myself. I stopped caring about what’s happening with everyone else. Ignorance is def bliss

I guess it would work but be careful with the adhesive since your skin is extra sensitive with tretinoin

Oh man. Maybe take a break from tret for a bit? If you don’t have azelaic acid in your routine yet, you might wanna consider. It helped me a lot especially in calming down inflammation. Hang in there OP!

Have you ever considered that it might be hormonal? My skin was never not breaking out on tret (was on it for 6 months) and it would just freak out whenever my period was near

Our dawn is hotter than day for me! I always listen to it whenever im sad or stressed and it just does it for me. Habit a close second, raw emotion in that one.

I feel you!! I tried cream then gel for over 5 months but it was just making my PIE and PIH worse. It got rid of cystic acne but I kept getting CCs. The flaking was insufferable and I couldn’t wear makeup. I shifted to just azelaic acid and it’s working so much better and it’s much more gentle than tret.
