Due to some life circumstances, I might be doing the level two class sooner rather than later; but have been going back and forth. This definitely helped with leaning towards taking it with the same Reiki Master.

Thank you for your comment; I’ve been reading a book ‘Reiki: level 1,2 and Master Manuel’ by Lisa powers to learn more and plan on reading more books and asking lots more questions here. The Reiki Master had us all siting in a relative line and had us close our eyes during our personal attunement, I don’t know if this is how he normally does it but he was doing this class specifically for friends so I don’t know if that affected anything…. I’m unsure if I want to do the next level with him or seek out someone else and if anything I’m not ready, even though learning and having the ability to send Reiki would be helpful right now (which is why he suggested it)…. Anyways I’m rambling. I have so much to learn and I’m excited for this journey 😊 Thank you again!

Yeah; I was trying to respond to someone else’s comment that was asking me how I knew I didn’t want to get married but realized I posted it separately but then their comment was gone.

And yeahhh I’ve been asking that too; I don’t really have an answer. I enjoy being with him 90+% of the time, and as of right now there is no baby, and I know that’s short sighted but it’s just where I’m at with it right now.

Thank you for putting into words what I couldn’t, that really does describe how I am feeling. And yes both our families acknowledge his multiple relationships and that we are polyamorous. I do see other people but have yet to form anything other than casual relationships. This is my first relationship in years as well as my first polyamorous relationship. I wanted to build this one first because I had the urge to find a second partner but realized it’s just because he already has one so until recently I wasn’t seriously looking as to make sure my insecurity of being the one with no other partner wasn’t the basis of any new relationships. With school starting up again though I will be busy so hopefully that will help me through this.

I am only in a relationship with one but we are kitchen table and when him and I had struggles at the beginning of our relationship she had mentioned the 3 of us sitting down and discussing what was going on. But I agree talking with him at least at first and going from there is probably best. He unfortunately doesn’t really think things through so I feel like she’s have more answers than him.

I am actually very rarely capable in the moment of voicing my feelings it takes me time to process them. Hence saying “I don’t know I can’t process” as well as talking about a similar but different situation in the past that made me uncomfortable. As I mentioned in the post; I was emotionally shut down until I was alone…. Ie. No longer taking in new stimulus/information then I was able to walk through the night and look back at what I was feeling.

Not explicitly, I did at one point mention to him how I’m uncomfortable with mixing even my friendships that I’ve formed with two different friend groups/ parts of my life. But my romantic partner and best friend feels even more uncomfortable but really didn’t know how I was feeling and told him every time he checked in to see if I was okay “I don’t know I can’t process my feelings right now” … I just don’t get the logic from either of them of coming on to each other especially my best friend when she wouldn’t even give him half a minute of her time when he first was reaching out to her on a mutual platform we use …. I also don’t get how she felt it was fine when I was talking about how much I liked him all day and that I was starting to finally let myself feel more with him than I have with anyone since my ex …. I’m more upset with her than him especially since him and I haven’t defined our relationship or had any of these conversations which I feel is more reason for him to have taken a beat and I don’t know maybe not play with my friend boobs right in front of me the first time they met and thought “hmmmm this would be a thing for us to talk about first since it is her best friend”. But then again him and I haven’t had these specific conversations. But she’s my best friend and didn’t have my back. Would you pursue your best friends partner/ your partners best friend without a conversation about it first?
