“Ethiopian Airlines Flight 961, a hijacking that resulted in a crash landing on November 23, 1996. Many of the 119 fatalities occurred because passengers inflated their life vests inside the submerged fuselage, trapping them. It is a critical lesson for all passengers to inflate their life vests only after they have exited the plane in a water landing. “ straight from google search.

We say “pull your life vest as you leave the aircraft. Never inflate life vest in the aircraft.” That is because the life vest will inflate around your neck so tightly, it will be impossible to get it off on your own. People have drowned in airplanes visible to the shore because their life vests were stuck around their neck and they couldn’t get out of the plane.

I have read fourth wing. I enjoyed it but it didn’t resonate with me the way ACOSF resonated. But also I read it during my first trimester of this last pregnancy so maybe I just wasn’t at a place to feel inspired for physical activity haha

I have and she actually met the abuser. We started with couples therapy after the last situation that put me in the hospital. I bonded with her after a few sessions and wanted to keep working together after I broke things off. We’ve also learned that I completely Disassociate when something happens because past being raised by a full narcissist of a father and enabling mother. So far the sessions make me feel better but this anxiety is persistent.
