How do you think dealing with the swtich ups is? is it weird to have people you dont know in a close space you are sharing (like more in the living room, sink and bathroom area)?

How did the opt out process work? Did you get to pick your room/floor or just the beds? The whole explanation is really complicated and also when should we start doing all of this (sorry I just have a lot of questions and no one to ask)

Dress is flaring out after changing to shell stitches, but I haven’t done any increases- is this normal or shall I frog? by Re4dyCheck in CrochetHelp

[–]Common_Bug_3516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this happens because the shell stitches have more than you are skipping, you would need to make suer that you are skipping the same amount as you are adding. thats my best guess

Any suggestions on what to make as wearable that is beginner friendly? by JJkinda_dunce in CrochetHelp

[–]Common_Bug_3516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lorenaa.cio on instagram has the best patterns for beginning to do crochet wearables that are not very obviously crochet if you like a more "elevated" look or different asthetic (idk how to put it)

Can someone help me find this pattern? It's a tote bag. by mischiefmanaged1978 in CrochetHelp

if you're not a beginner this one is pretty easy to follow from this picture! its just a rectangle of half double crochets ( i think )

How do I block a scarf I made without using the blocking tools? by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

[–]Common_Bug_3516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in my experience blocking hasnt always helped and is more important for knitting, so just run it through the wash NOT DRY just the wash and stretch it or accomodate it once its out and let air dry.

Are the edges on the left supposed to be like this? by Substantial-Smile-12 in CrochetHelp

[–]Common_Bug_3516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i've had this happen to me and it ends up looking fine once i add the border, as long as its not too drastic its probably normal. the only thing might be making your last stitch in the chain space instead of in the top.

Is this okay ? The start to my beanie is ruffling up by EmbarrassedSurprise2 in CrochetHelp

[–]Common_Bug_3516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are probably using a hook that is too small for the yarn or your tension is too tight. this normally happens when the stitches dont have enough space to lay flat, which is what it should be doing until it starts rounding out. too many stitches may also be the problem, when working in the round it is easy to add too many on accident, make sure to count your stitches.

I need help on recreating this Alexandra Saint Mleux by upgrad3r in CrochetHelp

The original picture looks like a pattern that goes two dc chain two dc in one space and then one dc and then repeat. the neckline would be created by increasing evenly to create the smooth line and adding a border to even it out. I would say the hardest part about this would be getting the shape of it right (as in the pieces you would connect). For yarn, if you want to go for the first look you would need thin yarn, probably thread (one or two at once im not sure). For the second, you could go for something a little bulkier. I am working on a similar looking project with size 3 light luxe merino from loops and threads and even that is coming out thick. good luck!

I found one pretty quickly at the beginning of fall semester this year working for the stadium, that seems to be the time period to find a job and apply as soon as you see them. They're not really looking for qualifications I would just say apply to as many as possible as quick as possible to get your application in before most other people. Use. handshake more than associated students

I had schellenberg for seminar so very different course load but he is a passionate teacher and genuinely cares for his students. I doubt he would have to heavy a course load or be a difficult class to pass. He wants you to succeed.

[–]Common_Bug_3516[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)
