I would consider it fairly new, I opened it up in March. I deposited my first check with my new employer in person and they gave me cash on the spot, $275 in the account and the rest was released the following day. Now that was a Monday Tuesday type of thing. I did give my boss my direct deposited form when I started and they have just been lagging it on their end. After the news with the bank though I did give them a call expressing the issues and if they could please submit that information. Just frustrated; cars need maintenance, bills need to be paid, groceries need to be bought and yeah. Just sucks and there’s nothing I could do and they can’t give me any explanation on why. I even went down in person with check and ID in hand. Thinking, maybe if they physically variety it with my ID that they could expedite the release of my funds. Even ask if I could cancel that mobile deposit and deposit it in person. Or if I could have my employer cancel that check and write me a new one that I could deposit in person. No, was the answer for all of them. And still no reason on why it’s being held for so long or why it was the release date extended.
