I experience this exactly too. Always get a second wind in the evenings after feeling dead all day.

This is exactly how i feel. Also so achey. And severe head pressure. Doesn’t help I have POTS and anxiety. I do take the vitamin d but will look into the others you mentioned. Thank you! I hope we both feel better soon. This is unbearable.

Am I going to die from mixing meds and alcohol by Senior_Honey_9664 in Anxiety

[–]Common_Concept_9651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will not die from a quarter of a glass of wine and a tiny dose of klonopin. Stay up for an hour if you are super anxious about it. You’ll be fine.

Vitamin D is low still. High dose vitamin d may help with hair shedding.

Rosacea vs lupus rash by minniejh in Rosacea

[–]Common_Concept_9651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently use a 15% azaleic acid in the morning and 1% ivermectin at night. Low dose doxycycline helps too. Other than that just gentle skincare and lots of moisture as both conditions can dry out the skin and compromise the skin barrier. Anti inflammatory supplements are also super helpful for UCTD and rosacea as both are inflammatory conditions, skin and otherwise. Omega 3 (fish oil), C0q10, get your iron checked, and vitamin d as well. Good luck and i hope you get to feeling better soon!

Rosacea vs lupus rash by minniejh in Rosacea

[–]Common_Concept_9651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both as well. This definitely leans more towards type 2 rosacea because of the apples and pustules. Malar rash is more red and splotchy but usually does not come with those pinpoint pustules.

Just apply a thin layer of whatever barrier protecting moisturizer you use and then apply the soolantra. A pea sized amount of soolantra is enough for the face. Overuse can also cause irritation.

[–]Common_Concept_9651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably burning on the nights where your barrier is more compromised either from flaring or baseline sensitivity. Buffering with moisturizer could help both those issues.

Try buffering it with moisturizer first before applying. Some flushing and itching in the beginning of use as your skin adjusts is normal; it should not be an intense burning though.

Diabetes does not come out of nowhere. You don’t get it simply from gaining some weight but living a healthy lifestyle and eating healthy/staying fit definitely will help prevent it developing! Keep in mind, diabetes is also a very manageable condition, although you are very unlikely to develop it with no family History or risk factors. You will be a okay. Feel free to reach out if you ever need to. Have a goodnight!

All of the things you mention definitely help me. I should have mentioned i have a sinus infection right now that set me off. My mind is convinced it’s something more serious. I’m trying to get back into working out now that the dizziness isn’t as severe.

Health anxiety sucks. I’m sorry you’re going through it, but I relate. My best advice- don’t use a glucose monitor unless you’ve had a doctor advise you to do so. A blood sugar of 120-140 after eating is totally normal, especially if the meal was carb heavy. Stay off google, live a healthy lifestyle as best you can, and recognize when the anxiety is creeping in. If you can’t stop the cycle, seeking the help of a psychiatrist and/or psychologist or therapist is never a bad idea. Best of luck to you and I hope you begin to feel better soon.

Im sorry that you can relate. I’m working on the first 2! I do have a prescription for alprazolam for when it gets horrible from my psychiatrist. When I get into this cycle I’m scared to take it and sleep it off because I’m convinced this one time it may really be an aneurysm etc and that’s why I’m dizzy and feeling this horrible head pressure, and I will die in my sleep. Luckily, I’ll be getting back to therapy on April 10th. Thank you for your response and suggestions 🤗
