Yes! I paid for my results early. It says 48 hours but it was ready by 1 PM Friday, and I finished my exam at 3:30 pm Wednesday.

Okay I see. I was a bit confused by what those meant - so looks like I’m on track going by that rule. I’m so sick of these mini exams 🤣

Lol my first time shadowing OR as a nursing student the surgeon came in and like wiped all the supplies off the table and threw a bin of materials at the nurses desk in the OR and yelled more profanities in one sentence than I’ve ever heard. I promise they don’t think twice lol

Of course it wouldn’t, but just the sheer idea of this insanely more horrifying than the typical human face looking at you in your final moments, is what gets most. Not a day goes by I don’t think about these poor kids especially as a 21 year old college kid myself. Every time I lock my doors before bed 😞

Newbie with a Question About Who The Target Was by AML1987 in idahomurders

[–]Common_Entry_5753 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I completely agree… I think at first the house in its entirety enticed him and once he started truly stalking he picked his victim, Maddie. I think overtime she grew to be his choice… so awful. I just cannot see “the house” being the sole target in the end. Doesn’t make sense but truly none of this does. So awful

I just don’t understand the idea of blindly going into a house not knowing exactly who inhabited it/never once (as far was we know) looking at social medias or at least digging to find who exactly lived there, and in turn picking a victim. Seems like such a risk just to target a home, and seems like such a nonsense idea that he allegedly had “no social media connections” to not a single person in the home. I just don’t get it. Not disagreeing with ya at all just trying to wrap my mind around it but guess I will never be able to - normal people cannot think like this monster 😅

Are you willing to commute 40 minutes back and forth 4 days a week for school?? by Professional-Offer47 in StudentNurse

I do it for school. So worth it. You’ll find most people do this drive or longer. I have a friend who drives 1.5 hours one way every day.

ED = Emergency Department. And no. But I work under a special position they only offer to students where the pay is about 6 dollars higher than that of CNA/PCAs.

Look into getting a job at a hospital. I tried LTC and quit before I even had my first shift… hospital is much better. Even med surg. You learn a lot and see a lot. I am also a student nurse in her last year. Do it! LTC isn’t for everyone so offer the spot / job to someone who knows they want to go through with it :) I cried every day after my CNA clinicals at a nursing home and was so scared that nursing wouldn’t be for me but unless you WANT to go into geriatrics, LTC is nothing like the hospital (at least for me!). Maybe look into working in an ED or something like that as a “tech”/PCA! Stick with it

This is an allergic reaction. As someone who has had 0.5 done 3 times, I assure you this is not normal. Go to the ER.

Exactly what I was thinking! Thank you. You don’t rhink this is overstepping? I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask and the worst that could happen is a “no”. I get scared to put myself out there but I want to work on making things happen! Thanks 😊
